Ashlee and Pete Are Not Engaged, But They Are Promised

Ashlee Simpson stopped by The Sauce in NYC yesterday to talk about her new album, but she also revealed the meaning behind that ring she's been wearing. In January her rep denied that she and Pete are engaged, but that doesn't mean her jewelry has nothing to do with her boy — turns out, Pete gave Ash a promise ring. She said, "It just means that he hasn't asked my dad yet . . . " Sound like things are serious and if we're lucky maybe she and Jessica can double up for a Simpson family extravaganza.

I like Ashlee I wish she had left her nose alone she was way more interesting with her original nose. I don't know about the guy though he strikes me as odd, but hey who am I to judge? And the dad he's creepy with a capital CREEP. It just seems like he is their owner or their pimp or something. I understand dad's and daughters are close but this guy takes it to a whole other level

a promise ring? is she for real? whats the promise? to get his genital tattoo laser removed, to stop shopping at hot topic together, to get more hair extensionsAnd her dad? he would sell ashlee for 25 bucks and a jessica simpson t-shirt. all he cares about is money, so marrying her off is not really an issue.
