Yesterday's Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in LA was a family affair for stars such as Rachel Zoe, Alessandra Ambrosio, Selma Blair, and Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn. The India-inspired event also drew Lauren Conrad and her boyfriend William Tell, who were spotted cozying up to each other in the VIP tent, Twilight star Ashley Greene, and Justin Long, among others. We spotted Justin horsing around with Jerry and Rebecca's twin daughters during the kid-friendly party, where fellow moms Rachel and Alessandra also did some bonding with their little ones.

The match was a close one, but polo star Nacho Figueras's team reigned supreme with a score of 10 to 9 after actress Ali Larter kicked things off by throwing out the first toss. With son Skyler Berman and husband Rodger Berman by her side, Rachel presented Ralph Lauren model Nacho with an oversize bottle of Champagne at the awards ceremony, during which he was honored as the day's MVP.

Variety hosted its annual Power of Women luncheon today at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills. The event, which celebrates influential women in the entertainment world, brought out a long list of boldfaced names. Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck were in attendance after stepping out for the LA premiere of Argo last night. The couple were among the presenters at the event, which spotlighted several actresses and their charitable contributions. Inside the lunch, Jessica Biel and Jennifer were seen catching up side by side at their table and posing for pictures together.

Today's honorees included Jessica, Halle Berry, Katherine Heigl, Queen Latifah, and Felicity Huffman. Queen Latifah's remake of Steel Magnolias premieres on Lifetime this weekend, and the cable network cosponsored today's festivities. The actress and rapper was specifically honored for the scholarship foundation she founded in her late brother's memory.

A solid 100 percent of the net proceeds go to M.powerment, an initiative that distributes grants to programs and organizations working to end dating abuse. A small purchase can go a long way: in the past four years, M.powerment has raised more than a million dollars to help end dating abuse. Brand ambassador Ashley Greene is also getting in on the action with a playlist of positive, empowering songs for women. (Turns out she likes Whitney Houston and Christina Aguilera.) If you or somebody you know is in an abusive relationship, there is help and support available through the National Domestic Violence Hotline.

Jennifer had Ashley Greene; Olivia Wilde, in Alexander McQueen; and Ty Burrell by her side for both events. Costar Alicia Silverstone missed out on this afternoon's promotional stop but joined them for this evening's screening and later at the afterparty sponsored by Appleton Estate Rum. Jennifer, Alicia, and Olivia mingled with Harvey Weinstein at Double Seven, where they celebrated their premiere.

While Jennifer is working in NYC, her husband, Ben Affleck, is on the West Coast. He attended a charity dinner on Monday night and was spotted grabbing lunch on his motorcycle yesterday.

Last night at the Butter premiere, Ashley Greene proved that monochromatic makeup isn't a boring bet. Her matching pink eyes, cheeks, lips, heels, and Donna Karan dress were ladylike and chic. The key to mastering this palette is to choose different textures. Even though Ashley wore very similar shades, her cheeks were a matte flush, her lips had a glistening gloss, and her eyes were lined with shimmer.

Ashley's flushed look was all tied together by her rosy cheeks. To get a similar effect, extend blush a little above the apples to help link the color to the eye makeup. Try Kevyn Aucoin Blush ($37) in Shadore. You can also use a bit of blush underneath the brows as an added highlight. Then, apply a pastel metallic shadow to lids and underneath eyes as liner. Finish with a swipe of sheer candy-colored lip gloss and you're good to go.

Jennifer arrived on the East Coast yesterday, after traveling from LA solo. She already started promoting the project with a pretaped appearance on Ellen that airs today, during which she joked about husband Ben Affleck's "wonder sperm." Ty switched gears to the big-screen effort following an exciting weekend spent celebrating his TV hit, Modern Family. The show picked up outstanding comedy series just days ahead of its fourth season premiere last night. Ashley, meanwhile, has been in the Big Apple working on multiple projects, including a photo shoot for Mark cosmetics earlier this month. She and the rest of the cast have a week to go until Butter hits theaters on Oct. 5.
