Beckham Soccer Lesson Sold On The Cheap (Ha)
Oh, Becks. While we over here at Pop headquarters are thrilled that the Beckhams are moving to the states (camera men in tow?), it seems that the joy may not be as collective as we thought. At Elton John's AIDS benefit Oscar Party Auction, a private soccer lesson with Becks went for only $70,000. While that may sound like a ridiculous amount of money for a soccer lesson it was the lowest winning bid of the entire auction. Ouch. Now, if the bid had been for an hour at the pool with Becks in his white Speedo, on the other hand...it could have been a very different bidding story. Eh, ladies?

12I think they just realized that he's way past it in terms of soccer. The only reason he's only famous now is because of his allegedly "good looks" but he's really an embarassment in the soccer field. No one even wants him in European soccer anymore. Just retire, Beckham.
