When Adam Sandler uses his talents for cuteness (as opposed to, say, Zohan) it can be so good. I've enjoyed watching him work with kids in the past — I can never resist Big Daddy when it's on TV, and I think he shines in the scenes with his tween daughter in Spanglish. Now I'm happy to see him at the center of a new Disney movie that looks completely adorable.

Directed by Hairspray's Adam Shankman, Bedtime Stories is about a handyman who tells his niece and nephew imaginative stories that start to come true. Whatever the kids come up with each evening he has to survive in real life, including a gumball rainstorm and being set on fire. In the recent TV spot for the movie, it looks like a funny, good-natured kids movie and I found myself laughing more than I thought I would. The kids are super cute, and Sandler is a good sport.

Though I may not be in the key demographic for this one, it really does look like a fun movie! Check out the TV spot here and tell me what you think.

Keri Russell isn't one of Hollywood's tough chicks, but she was looking pretty badass in her leather jacket and shiny red helmet on the set of Bedtime Stories on Thursday. Adam was right there to hobble along beside her, but it looks like the poor guy's foot injury isn't quite healed yet. Adam might be a little bummed about missing out on riding a motorcycle around, but hopefully there's plenty of other danger-free fun to be had on the set.

It was back to work for Adam Sandler and Keri Russell, who were reunited yesterday on the LA set of Bedtime Stories. We haven't seen these two filming since Adam broke his ankle in a basketball accident two weeks ago, but he was quite the trooper as he hobbled around between takes on his crutches. Keri has been enjoying her downtime in sunny California with her main men River and Shane, but returning to such a fun-looking movie probably doesn't feel too much like work.

Keri Russell went with her favorite cool yet casual ensemble to run errands in LA on Monday before heading back to the set of Bedtime Stories yesterday. She might be hard pressed to find free time for herself since she's been busy with River and shooting, so we can't blame her for sticking to comfy basics. Man down! Man down! Tragedy almost struck the set of Bedtime Stories on the Santa Monica beach yesterday when Adam Sandler's beloved dog Matzo Ball got a little too close to the waves and had to be pulled out of the water by his daddy. Poor baby, bulldoggies can't swim. As an owner of a short-nosed and non-swimming pup myself, seems like both Adam and I could use Pet's beach tips for dogs. Anyway, Keri Russell was also joined by some serious cuteness on set — her hot husband Shane and little River. This has got to be the most heart-melting and awww-inducing movie set ever.

Adam Sandler and Keri Russell slipped into some goofy gear on the set of Bedtime Stories in LA yesterday. Keri tested out her roller blading skills while Adam covered up his silly haircut with an even more ridiculous hat. Adam's gumball rain shower seemed just a little more fun than stunt doubles crashing into each other, but when all is said and done, these two will hopefully have a great movie to share with River and Sadie.

Adam Sandler separated himself from his beloved Matzo Ball long enough to get to filming Bedtime Stories in LA yesterday. If you couldn't gather from these photos, the movie has a bit of a fantasy element — including a gumball rainstorm it seems — telling the story of a man whose bedtime stories he tells his nephew start to come true. Carmen Electra apparently makes an appearance in this scene, but his real leading lady in the movie is Keri Russell. Considering the soft spot I have for both Sandler and Russell I'm thinking I may have an even bigger one for this movie.
