Ben Affleck walked the Oscars red carpet on Sunday with his wife, Jennifer Garner. She wore a purple Gucci gown custom-made especially for her and 200 carats of Neil Lane diamonds. They were a fixture at the award shows this season, as Ben won best director and best picture, drama, for Argo at the Golden Globes, as well as a slew of similar awards at the BAFTAs, SAGs, and Critics' Choice Awards. He and Jennifer both took the stage to present awards, with Jennifer teaming up with Jessica Chastain for her moment at the microphone.
The night wrapped up on an emotional note as Ben and his team, which included Grant Heslov and George Clooney, clinched the coveted best picture award. Ben made an emotional acceptance speech touching on the tough time he's endured in Hollywood and gave a special shout-out to Jennifer for all the work she puts into their marriage. At the end, he wrapped things up and dedicated the award to their three kids, Samuel, Violet, and Seraphina, then headed to the press room to chat with George and Grant. Ben and Jennifer later celebrated at the exclusive Vanity Fair afterparty.
