Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's Baby Name Video

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have welcomed a son, Samuel Garner Affleck! "It was like Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse Affleck, yeah" Despite daughters Violet and Seraphina suggesting Disney-inspired names for their new sibling, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have gone with a more traditional moniker for their son — Samuel. PopSugar's TK is here with more details about the new addition. Ben made the big name reveal on his Facebook page today, adding that Samuel was born on Monday. Other reports say Jen gave birth in Santa Monica and by all accounts, both mom and baby are happy and healthy. "I have three women in the house/and how is that like?/Well I get to be wrong three times a day (laughs)." Back in 2010, Ben told Ellen DeGeneres he was feeling quite outnumbered by all the females in his family, but while waiting for baby number three, Jen wasn't completely convinced that Ben was actually gunning for another guy in the house. "Is he hoping maybe for a boy?/I would have thought so and then he kind of said well we have girls, we know how to do girls, my girls love me, I'm the big guy in the house, so now I'm not sure." Having grown up one of three girls herself, Ms. Garner said she'd be good with either outcome. "Obviously we'd be happy either way because it would be so weird to have a boy and cool and different, and I'm sure it would be fun for Ben he likes baseball and all that stuff, but a third girl, three girls is a great way to grow up" Even Ben's best friend Matt Damon was pulled into the baby talk for his opinion on the baby-Affleck-to-be, and being a father of four little ladies, he shared his wishes for the baby's well-being rather than picking a particular gender. "Between the two of you though, are you hoping a boy this time?/It's not like me and Ben are having a kid, I really hope it's a boy, you know, I think you always cross your fingers for a healthy kid."
