Ben Affleck Makes a Coffee Stop Following a Happy Halloween
Ben Affleck was out this morning to pick up a couple of coffees at his Brentwood neighborhood Starbucks. Last night, Ben joined Jennifer Garner and their daughters for some trick-or-treating in Malibu. The Garner-Affleck family all dressed up as characters from The Wizard of Oz. Ben went as the Tin Man, while Jennifer was Glinda the Good Witch, Violet was Dorothy, and Seraphina went as the Scarecrow.
Ben is enjoying time close to home after focusing his energies on his third directorial project, Argo, over the past year. Argo made it to the No. 1 spot at the box office last weekend for the first time since its release, solidifying its success with not just critics, but also audiences. At Monday night's Casting Society of America awards, Ben admitted to us that he's "insecure" about his work, even given the film's great reception. He told us that he's not sure what story he'll tell on the big screen next but said he's learned to be thoughtful about the projects he chooses rather than jumping at every opportunity that comes his way.
