Ben Wins Best Directorial Debut

The Grammy nominations were announced yesterday and around the corner are the Golden Globe nominations along with plenty more critics and groups announcing their awards. Most recently the National Board of Review declared their honors and Ben Affleck should be very proud. Along with brother Casey's Best Supporting Actor win for The Assassination of Jesse James, Amy Ryan also won Best Supporting Actress for Gone Baby Gone. The biggest accomplishment is that Ben was honored with a win for Best Directorial Debut for Gone Baby Gone. This is just the start of a great holiday season for Ben!

He totally deserves this - major congratulations all around! :medal: This has been such a great year for Ben, Jen and their little Violet. Even though he's doing his usual "annoyance look" at the paps (can you blame him?) I think he looks yummy here.

yay, congrats ben! that was such a good movie. i was actually surprised how good it was, even though i've been a ben fan since his "chasing amy"/"dogma' days.
