For forty years, Dick Clark hosted his New Year's Rockin' Eve program from Times Square in New York City. The legendary TV personality was famous for bringing some of our favorite singing stars together on one of the most festive nights of the year, so in honor of his work, we've rounded up five memorable performances from recent years. Jennifer Lopez (2010) Jennifer Lopez wowed the crowd with a skintight sparkly bodysuit for the 2010 broadcast . . . The Spice Girls (1998) Victoria Beckham and The Spice Girls performed their pop hit "Wannabe" ahead of 1998's ball drop . . . TLC (1993) TLC got the girl power going a few years earlier to celebrate the start of 1993 . . . Taylor Swift (2009) A fresh-faced Taylor Swift got down with her guitar to ring in 2009 . . . Bieber and Beyoncé (2012) And finally, Justin Bieber graced the stage in what would be Dick's last appearance on the show, which marked the start of 2012. . . special never-before-seen footage of Beyoncé also made that program a memorable one. Dick Clark is survived by his wife and three children. As for his popular New Year's Eve production, Ryan Seacrest has helped Dick host since 2006 and will likely take the reigns so that the show may continue.
