Bethenny Frankel Changes Baby Bryn on the Bathroom Floor

Necessity is indeed the mother of invention.

Necessity is indeed the mother of invention. On last night's episode of Bethenny Ever After the new mama took a break from her meal to change baby Bryn's diaper in a restaurant's tiny restroom. With no changing table available, she covered the floor with her changing pad and went to work, only to wonder how she was supposed to use the bathroom while holding her tot.

The scene was eerily reminiscent of my first meal out with my lil one. I confidently strode into the restroom with my baby and diaper bag in tow, only to find the requisite pull-down table missing. I balked at putting my infant on the dirty floor (even if it was covered) and tried to come up with a different method. I managed to balance my son and his changing pad on my lap while sitting on the toilet, only to wonder how I was supposed to then use the facility myself. Let's just say it took a lot of coordination! Now, I'm sure to check out the Sit or Squat app before entering a restaurant with my kids. What was your toughest diaper change environment?

Bethenny Frankel Sets Boundaries With the Grandparents; Have You?

When is enough, enough? On the season premiere of Bethenny Ever After, the reality star spends a weekend trying to establish boundaries with her in-laws. The new grandparents, who live two hours away from baby Brynn's New York City home, express their desire to see their granddaughter every week, as well as holidays and special occasions. After several discussions on the matter, Bethenny, in her trademark way, reminds them that there are some things the family must celebrate and experience on their own. There's no denying the joy that babies bring to grandparents' lives, but some parents find that enthusiasm suffocating. Have you had to set limits with your tot's grandparents?

Bethenny Frankel kept her fun in the sun going yesterday with another visit to the beach in Miami. The reality TV star and chef broke out a salmon bikini after wearing a purple two-piece to go for a swim last week. Bethenny met up with her husband Jason and daughter Bryn for an afternoon walk, but she covered up by the evening to head off for an appearance during the South Beach Food and Wine Festival — YumSugar has been there covering the scene, so make sure to check out the treats they're loving! Bethenny and her family left Florida later that night, as they now have to prep for tonight's premiere of her latest series on Bravo called Bethenny Ever After.

Bethenny Frankel wore one of her many purple two-pieces this afternoon while on the beach in Miami with her daughter, Bryn. It's Bethenny's latest bikini adventure, after she took Summer surfing lessons and enjoyed her honeymoon with Jason Hoppy nearly a year ago. She and Bryn headed off on a girls-only vacation just a few days ago. Bethenny took time to observe her favorite national holiday, Margarita Day, before sweetly tweeting, "Bryn's cute little bottom in her bathing suit and her sun hat is the cutest, sweetest ever. Having best time!" Bethenny's recharging her batteries ahead of her return to TV in Bethenny Ever After next week, and the debut coincides conveniently with the release of her new book, A Place of Yes: 10 Rules for Getting Everything You Want Out of Life, in March.

Bethenny Frankel Leads Skating With the Stars Cast

In an effort to capitalize on hit reality series Dancing With the Stars, ABC has revealed its cast for Skating With the Stars, a new show that is pretty much the same as DWTS except on ice.

In an effort to capitalize on hit reality series Dancing With the Stars, ABC has revealed its cast for Skating With the Stars, a new show that is pretty much the same as DWTS except on ice. Each contestant will be paired with a professional to compete for the title of skating champ. The six contestants include Bethenny Frankel, Olympic champ Jonny Moseley, All My Children's Rebecca Budig, Vince Neil, the Disney Channel's Brandon Mychal Smith, and Sean Young.

Obviously the cast is smaller (and less recognizable) than what we've seen on DWTS lately, but even that series started off with a lot of relatively unknown contestants. I'll probably still tune in just to see if the new reality competition can find the same success as the most-watched show on television. The series debuts Nov. 22, but what do you think? Are you interested? And who would you put your money on to win?
