Beyoncé Knowles was up bright and early this morning to perform in NYC's Central Park as part of Good Morning America's Summer concert series, wearing a customized Julien MacDonald dress and a multi-colored manicure! We were lucky enough to be in the crowd to see Beyoncé sing four tracks from her just-released album, 4, as well as one of her old hits — along with four dancers, she whipped the crowd into a frenzy with a hot rendition of "Single Ladies"! Even Jaden and Trey Smith, whose dad Will is a good friend of Beyoncé's, were in the crowd to see the amazing choreography. Beyoncé sat down between her first and second tunes to chat with ABC's Robin Roberts about her new record, respect for women, and the few months she took off from working. Beyoncé said of her long break, "I took my time to get to know myself. I learned how to appreciate everything I've worked hard for. And it's something my mother kept preaching to me. Hard to see when you're moving around so fast. I really learned how to appreciate my family and all of my fans. I realize all of the impact I've had on so many people, and what a blessing and how fortunate I am to be able to touch so many people." Today also gave our lucky I'm a Huge Fan winner the chance to meet with Beyoncé following the performance! It had been a whirlwind few days for the lucky recipient of the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and we can't wait to show you all the footage!
