The many meanings behind Beyoncé and Jay-Z's baby name. Hey there, I'm Karli Bulnes, and we've got the explanation in today's PopSugar Rush. "baby, I paint the sky blue. My greatest creation was you" It's Jay-Z singing the blues! The rapper and new father of newborn Blue Ivy Carter released a new song called "Glory" on his web site Monday, just two days after wife Beyoncé gave birth to their daughter in New York. Baby blue's sweet cries are heard on the track and she's even given an official credit for the intimate song. The lyrics reveal Blue was conceived in Paris and that the couple sadly suffered a miscarriage in the past. The tune did not, however, give any clues as to why the baby's name is Blue Ivy, though both monikers seem to hold many meanings for the parents — three of Jay's albums have "blue" in the title and "I" and "V" make up the Roman Numerals for the number four, which is not only the title of Beyoncé's latest album, but it's also her birthday, Jay's birthday, and their wedding day. Little Blue is already receiving lots of love from famous friends and family members. Gwyneth Paltrow sent a welcome tweet, aunt Solange Knowles called her the most beautiful girl in the world, and honorary aunt Rihanna has dubbed her Princess Carter.
