Beyonce Plays Girl Power Cheerleader For Marie Clarie
Beyonce posed in a sparkly mini dress for the June issue of Marie Claire, but it looks like she had even more fun modeling the Thierry Mugler looks from her tour for the photo shoot. In the article, Beyonce reveals that she sometimes keeps herself smiling by getting Jay-Z's name and face appliquéd on her nails. The superstar also admits that she's not always as strong as she appears but that's what makes her songs important. Here are highlights:
- On her hit song Single Ladies: "More than anything, the song celebrates being single. It's like, if you've been doing all you can and it's not happening for you, go out and have you a good old time. Put on your sexy dress and move on."
- On her music: "I know I'm stronger in the songs than I really am. Sometimes I need to hear it myself. We all need to hear those empowering songs to remind us."
- On her year: "Fifteen years from now, I want to be able to look back and say, 'Wow. That's where I was at 27 . . . that was my best.'"
Beyonce seems pretty strong as far as we can tell, but she's got a whole tour lined up packed with performances in case she needs a boost.

1Eveday...lol...that was funny. But I like that she can inspired to be stronger and is not strong all the time.
2I know all these magazines airbrush, but c'mon. Beyoncé's thighs are bigger and more muscular than that! And eveday is right: What's up with that jacked "superhero" costume she's wearing?
3well it's nice to get her thoughts on things, but i have to say that none of it is surprising.
4@zoorph, her thighs are not bigger than that. her weight is up and down and if you have seen her lately she is really thin, especially for her. but note to you worry about your own weight not hers, it's stupid and childish to try calling someone fat at every turn when you could be as big as a house.

6Nothing in zoorph's comment made reference to Beyonce being "fat", just that her thighs are bigger than pictured...which is true, especially for the cover shot.
7I'm with tiabia - zoorph made no reference or insinuation that Beyonce is fat. She was just making an observation with regard to her regular appearance. I was thinking the same thing, and thinking it was a shame that they had to photoshop out all her sexy curves.

10I don't think her weight is an issue. Who cares? Anyway, she's really been growing on me lately. I like a lot of her new songs.
