Biggest Headline of 2009: Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick's Twin Girls

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick made the unexpected announcement in April that they were expecting twins — via surrogate! The duo put any rumors of marital trouble behind them with the happy news that they had two girls on the way, and their bundles of joy arrived right on schedule at the end of June. SJP and Matthew introduced their daughters, Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge, with a special family photo. Unfortunately, the safety of their surrogate was compromised after her identity was discovered and her phone and computer were hacked. The case has finally come to a close, however, after the recent conviction of a policeman from the surrogate's town. Sarah Jessica and Matthew moved forward despite the drama, with Tabitha and Marion spending lots of time with their big brother, James Wilkie, and even visiting the set of Sex and the City 2. SJP also shared her love of fresh diapers, proving that she took on her new role as mother of three with enthusiasm.
