Hayden Panettiere was spotted in Cannes earlier today, enjoying some bikini time on a yacht with British TV presenter Steve Jones. Apparently the two have been spending lots of time together lately, since her breakup with Milo Ventimiglia a few months ago. At 32, Steve is 12 years older than Hayden so tell us — are you surprised she's dating another older man?

it's her life - guys her own age are probs to immature. there is nothing wrong with this at all and no im not surprised. don't make mean comments about her having daddy issues though, maybe she just likes older guys for other reasons i mentioned

I'm not surprised she's with an older guy b/c all of her bf's have been older. Maybe she has daddy issues, b/c her family life isn't exactly peachy. It's interesting to me that she was an that Candies event that promoted abstinence only when I highly doubt living that lifestyle esp. with the older men she's been with. Nonetheless, I do like her and she seems like a cool person.

I don't think she's weird for dating an older man, but when a man that much older dates a girl so young, it makes you think he's just looking for a hot young fling to make himself feel younger. IDK.

to be honest, she probably finds that boys her age are immature. steve jones is hot!!!! and yes he does have a bit of a reputation for being a womanizer... but i don't think he's ever really come accross as being anything more than a gentleman. he's just had a few dates with high profile women- pamela anderson and halle berry. he was going out with fearne cotton but they've broken up now- and really 3 girls in god knows how many years? if they weren't famous noone would even know and it's not exactly high numbers. i hope this works out- i think she's cute too. but i do have a soft spot for milo!

As long as there are men that like dating younger women there will be women that like dating older men. And vice versa. Everybody has their issues, be it about age, social status, financial status, character, looks or whatever other thing defines what you look subconsciously in the other person.
