Hilary Duff kept her sunglasses on to match her black bikini as she tested out the water in Hawaii yesterday. She's on vacation with her standard tropical vacation partner, boyfriend of two years Mike Comrie. I saw Hilary and her boyfriend at the Maui airport! She was very friendly when a mom asked her if she could take a picture of her with her 3 girls! Mike stood back but I got a picture of him in the background. :) Leave her alone! She is 21 yrs. old and who hasn't gained and lost weight! I think she looks great and doesn't look like a stick!!!

Amanda-la, no offense but I really doubt anyone at the beach would have been looking at your thighs. They'd either be relaxing and enjoying themselves, or worried and self conscious about themselves. And for all of you who are saying Hilary looks bad - how about you take a full body shot of yourself (you can cut off the head) in a similar 2-piece and send it in to popsugar, and we can see how awesome and fit your body is in comparison? Seriously. I was thinking about it, and if you'd put Britney's head on Hilary's body it's almost the same...

If that's what her body really looks like, I can't imagine how crazy photoshopped her shoot for Shape magazine was. I'm not saying she looks bad at all, she's healthy, she's happy, but she does look a bit uncomfortable. No matter how many pounds you put on, your body shape never changes, and on that Shape cover, she actually had a waist and great abs. That kind of stuff just doesn't go away that fast.

Wow... I worry that most of us(myself included) are buying into this whole 'skinny is beautiful' mentality - seriously!! here we are talking about a perfectly normal looking WOMAN as if she weighs 300lbs. how anyone manages to feel good about themselves these days is beyond me. At nearly 30 years old I'm still struggling to not get negatively affected by this obsession with skinniness. BIG UP being healthy and having a bit of meat on the bones. Women don't have to look like 9 year old girls to be beautiful!!! End of Rant. : )

She doesn't look fat, she looks like she's gained a little too much muscle for her teeny tiny frams. I agree that some pilates or yoga would lengthen her out, and I also think lowering the weight and doing more reps would help. She looks healthy and happy though, and while I've never dug her work, I'll definitely go see Bonnie and Clyde, and I think she seems to have made a smooth transition to adulthood. I like being able to comment anonymously--for some reason, I can't log in at work!

Well, I think she looks fantastic and healthy. I'm disappointed that so many people thinks she looks overweight or chubby...this is what a person with an average body type is supposed to look like! She looks so much better than when she was anorexic-looking and had horse-like veneers a few years back. P.S. The camera adds ten pounds, so she probably looks even slimmer in real life.

Well, she's not perfect - she looks like every other average well-fed American girl to me. At least she's not ashamed of having an average-looking body.
