Since when do women's magazines (allure, marie claire, cosmo...) have a topless cover. It's more suited for GQ, Esquire... Don't you think?

Beautiful indeed. But not very versatile. However, I'm not surprised by always seeing in bikini shots/related ads: she's clearly not a runway or high-fashion model...she's working with what she has to offer: great body and pretty face.

Yeah, why? These look like oversexed photos for Maxim. Is Marie Claire trying to increase their male readership? I'm confused. This makes me not want to buy their magazine anymore. Plus, yeah, how about she model actual clothes for once? I especially like that white swimsuit that mimics ribs sticking out. Nice.

Bar is not more than a bikini model but at the same time she is considered a `supermodel` ( overexposure thank to her boyfriend ). I assume people expect more from her ( mag covers in actual clothes ) but she cannot deliver that. Same poses, same facial expressions all the time. Unexpected cover from a magazine like Marie Claire.

I'd like to see her smile, at least....her smile really lights up her face and makes her the model she wants so desperately to be.

I never saw a cover like this on Marie Claire France but it's Bar on the cover so i'm not surprised and it's an old pic of Bar.
I think that they take Bar when they have nobody to put on the cover ( like Elle ).
In France we call up it : "un bouche trou"

She looks good but I agree it's not newsworthy. Why are people so upset she is modeling in a bikini again? Isn't she a bikini model?

Of course you would have a model in a bathing suit in a May edition, going into summer, when you use the model who is this years Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition cover.

Marie Claire has had racier covers, including a very pregnant Christine Aguilera wearing only a cropped jacket, and covers with Gisele and Ashley Judd nude, facing the camera, with only their hands/arms covers their breasts. Not all US editions.

Maybe it is different in France, but in the US I doubt many women are going to be vying to snag a magazine with a photo of a half naked gorgeous woman on it, for me personally it only makes me feel worse about myself, and I do not purchase women's magazines for that!
