Blake Lively is back to work on Gossip Girl. But what's in store for Serena Van der Woodsen. Hi, I'm Allie Merriam. Get the scoop on the upcoming season of Gossip Girl and details on Blake's new co-stars in today's PopSugar Rush. Blake Lively had a wardrobe change yesterday after working on the sixth and final season of Gossip Girl in New York. He's joined on set by Chace Crawford aka Nate Archibald. She started things off in a blue Marc by Marc Jacobs dress, and later changed into something a little more modest. Pairing a skirt with an orange Alice and Olivia top and her favorite, a pair of Louboutins. Blake and Chace were busy last week too. Fans snapped pictures of them on the set with some of their other co-stars. Blake looks lovely yet again in the perfect for summer yellow gown, as she works with Ed Westwick, Penn Badgely, Leighton Meester and Chace. There are plenty of plot lines to wrap up after last season, their fifth, ended with plenty of shocking moments. Leighton's Blair Waldorf declared her love for Ed Westwick's Chuck Bass. I love you. Blake 's Serena turned to drugs and left on a train after seducing Penn's Dan Humphrey. And there was even drama in source with the characters' parents. Lily Van der Woodsen split from Dan's dad, Rufus Humphrey. So how will all this be resolved? Here's what we know so far about season six. There are at least two new characters. Barry Watson of Seventh Heaven fame was on set yesterday playing Blake's love interest and Lost's Andrea Gabriel also has. The first episode called Gone, Baby Gone will air Monday October 8th, and apparently the CW has put in an order of a shortened season of about 11 episodes. Everything is expected to conclude by Christmas with possibly one retrospective episode. And as for the plot, the gang tries to track down the missing Serena and Dan's hard at work on a book that could blow the lid on all their Upper East-side drama. Meanwhile, Nate dedicates himself to finding out who Gossip Girl has been after all these years. Are you ready to say farewell to the Gossip Girl gang? I'm Allie Merriam. Thanks for watching.
