Blake Lively hit the red carpet this afternoon in NYC at the premiere of husband Ryan Reynolds's new movie, The Croods.

Blake Lively hit the red carpet this afternoon in NYC at the premiere of husband Ryan Reynolds's new movie, The Croods. Wearing a minidress from Marios Schwab, Blake kept her distance from Ryan in front of photographers. He did, however, cozy up to his costar Emma Stone and even Blake's sister Robyn.

Emma and Ryan also had the company of another Croods star, Nicolas Cage, who brought his wife, Alice Kim. Nicolas, Emma, and Ryan have been busy this week, talking about their animated picture, which is out Friday, March 22. Press duties took Emma and Ryan to London before they returned to the Big Apple, where Blake was conveniently based last week doing interviews of her own on behalf of Gucci.

Blake Lively was dressed up for a day of press on behalf of Gucci yesterday in NYC. As the face of Gucci's Premiere fragrance, Blake's been plenty busy over the last few weeks taking care of promotional duties. She was, though, able to go to Canada to keep her husband, Ryan Reynolds, company on the set of his new film Queen of the Night. At the moment, Ryan's work has taken him to London to promote his next film to hit the big screen, The Croods. Between his own press duties, Ryan's been able to have fun out on the town, dining at The Ivy and talking walks around the city center with pals.

The couple snapped photos with patients and their families during their trip. Ryan is currently staying in Sudbury to film Queen of the Night with Rosario Dawson and Scott Speedman. He and Blake missed out on all of the Oscars fun that took place this past weekend, which included Blake's The Town director and costar Ben Affleck winning best picture for Argo.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds tried to stay warm when they stepped out together in Sudbury, Canada on Saturday. The couple layered up, with Blake in a long Canada Goose parka and Sorel boots and Ryan in a puffy gray coat, as they grabbed a bite at the Artisan Bakery. Blake was also spotted walking around town with her dog Penny bundled up in her coat. She and Ryan are temporarily staying up north while Ryan films his latest project, Queen of the Night, with Rosario Dawson and Scott Speedman. Before she headed up to Canada, Blake was busy doing press for the Gucci Première fragrance last week. During interviews, she gushed over Beyoncé's Super Bowl halftime performance. Blake said, "I just want Beyoncé to be the mother of my children. She was amazing! I can't, I can't even. I don't even have words for her." Perhaps Blake will get a chance to catch Beyoncé's new HBO documentary, Life Is But a Dream, when it premieres on Feb. 16.

Blake was out doing press for the launch of the Gucci Premiere fragrance and chatted about Beyoncé's Super Bowl halftime performance during an interview with E! News. Blake said, "I just want Beyoncé to be the mother of my children. She was amazing! I can't, I can't even. I don't even have words for her."

Blake stepped out for her promotional day after keeping things low-key over the past few months. She and husband Ryan Reynolds did walk hand in hand around NYC last month, though, following a short time out of the spotlight.

The couple, who were married in a private ceremony in South Carolina back in September, recently shared their wedding photos in the Winter 2013 issue of Martha Stewart Weddings. Blake enlisted the help of Martha and her magazine's team for her big day, which included creating handmade desserts and transforming a barn into a luxurious wedding venue. Blake is taking a break from work at the moment after wrapping the final season of Gossip Girl last year. Meanwhile, Ryan has several film projects in the works, including R.I.P.D., which is due out in the Summer.
