>> Is Edun Being Melded into the "Stella McCartney of LVMH"? —Bono and Ali Hewson have been cast in the newest Louis Vuitton Core Values campaign — and they're wearing clothes from Edun, the ethical clothing label they founded (and of which LVMH owns nearly 50 percent), marking the first time Vuitton has credited another fashion label in its ads. Hewson is pictured carrying a bag co-designed by Edun and Vuitton, notable as the Core Values campaigns historically highlight monogrammed Vuitton bags and luggage. After Edun recently reported losses, it seems like LVMH is ready to push hard for profit — particularly because the conglomerate is rumored to be molding the brand into their counterpart of PPR's socially conscious Stella McCartney label. Antoine Arnault, Vuitton's director of communications, explained that Edun's presence in a Vuitton campaign would give the small brand major international exposure. Tonight George Clooney rallied his Hollywood friends for a great cause. There were more than 100 actors taking calls and many fabulous performances on Hope For Haiti Now. Madonna, JT, Kid Rock, Taylor Swift, Chris Martin and Beyonce, Bono, Jay-Z and Rihanna and more performed during the telethon and now you can even preorder the songs for purchase on iTunes. Rob and his beard even came out of hiding today to join in for the cause. Check him out below along with Madonna singing "Like A Prayer." Bono and his wife Ali Hewson are revamping their philanthropic fashion brand, Edun. "We were so keen on our mission [to develop regions in Africa] that we made compromises that maybe we shouldn’t have . . . Without great clothes, we don’t have a business, so it’s important to get that end right," Hewson said.

Thanks to this new goal, and with the help of its backer LVMH, Edun's Pre-Fall collection is already looking better. It will most likely hold a fashion show in New York to unveil the line. What's more, Edun plans to hire a creative director to take the brand to a higher level. Though nothing is for sure, there are rumors that Alexander Wang is among the designers approached for the job. Only time will tell, but no matter who fills the position, I'm confident the brand will soar.

Some of the biggest stars of the music world from all different genres came together in NYC last night to celebrate the launch of VEVO. Justin Timberlake posed with John Mayer, who recently shared his ideas on how to get away with secret texts. Taylor Swift posed in her LBD while Taylor Lautner was elsewhere in the city preparing to host SNL and releasing the first cute promo. Rihanna smiled big after a publicly trying year and perhaps could give some advice to Adam Lambert who has had his share of controversy, though he's been asked to perform on the finale of SYTYCD. Meanwhile, Nick and Mariah just looked smitten as usual.

There was also time for some performances during the party including Bono and Lady Gaga who was a little more toned down than when she met Queen Elizabeth in London the night before. John Mayer also took the stage and hugged Taylor Swift as his new album featuring a duet with the country starlet climbs the charts. Even up-and-comer Justin Bieber got in the fun, posing with Shania Twain. There were a bunch of congratulations to be handed out to the group, many of who were nominated for Grammys last week.
