Us Magazine is reporting that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took a break from their parenting duties for a quick escape to Lake Powell, UT last week. The couple and their six children have been based in New Orleans while Brad films Cogan's Trade, but they apparently left the kids behind for their getaway at the Amangiri resort. Both Brad and Angelina have talked about the importance of making time to not be Mom and Dad and it looks like their day away was just that!

Wow.. I saw a facebook post about how Brad and Angelina walked into the Dam Bar in Page AZ near Lake Powell and they were posting about how they had been flying around Lake Powell and how gorgeous they were in person. And I thought what BS.. oopps.. Sorry Facebook posters guess you were telling the truth.

I read they brought their private plan too apparently there is a site where you can see flight info and someone saw AJ plane called Chivan was at the AZ airport.BP's film in NOLA is finishing up next week.

Lovely spa I see from the website it was voted Best Resort. Every couple needs time away from the kids even if its just one day
