Brad Pitt and George Clooney team up on stage for a cause they care about! Hi there, I'm Lauren Bradshaw, and we have the footage in today's PopSugar Rush. After a long award season, George and Brad are already in the spotlight together again, and this time, they're using their acting skills to raise awareness about an issue they both care about. The friends were all smiles on Saturday night before taking the stage for a reading of "8," a play written by Dustin Lance Black to shed light on the 2010 Proposition 8 Federal Court battle. George wore his glasses to portray one of the lawyers involved in the proceedings, while Brad slicked back his hair as the judge presiding over the case . . . George and Brad weren't the only famous faces lending their star power to the performance, however . . . CHRIS COLFER: Who wouldn't want to be a part of this, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Rob Reiner, Dustin Lance Black? I mean, I'd be crazy not to be a part of it, and the fact that it's supporting such a movement in our history . . . Glee star Chris Colfer joined Brad and George on stage, along with Kevin Bacon, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Jane Lynch, Matthew Morrison, and more actors all under the direction of Rob Reiner. But this isn't the first time that George and Brad have been open about their support for gay marriage. For more on that, here's PopSugar editor Molly Goodson. — For all of their joking around, marriage equality is something both George and Brad take very seriously — Brad has said one reason he hasn't gotten married to Angelina yet is because they're waiting until everyone in the country can BRAD PITT: Until that is reversed, I just don't get it, it make-a no sense to me, it make-a no sense!" — As for George, he recently gave an interview to The Advocate where he spoke about marriage equality as the final leg of the civil rights movement — Clearly, something both men are passionate about The play "8" already had a staged reading on Broadway last year, and Dustin Lance Black has said that he'd like to eventually turn it a film.
