Brad Pitt's New Big Project Comes With a Little Controversy

Apr 3 2014 - 6:49am

Brad Pitt [1] returned to LA on Wednesday after a quick trip to France [2] over the weekend. The actor donned head-to-toe khaki when arriving at LAX, a look he's shown off quite a bit lately [3]. The last time we saw this trend on Brad was at a screening of Big Men [4], his latest passion project. The documentary — which was primarily filmed in West Africa — follows a small group of American explorers at a Texas-based oil company as they discover and develop the first-ever oil field in Ghana.

This isn't the only big news for Brad. It was recently announced that his Plan B production company has acquired the rights to David Kushner's famed 2013 Rolling Stone article "Anonymous vs. Steubenville," [5] the story about a hacker who helped convict two rapists and was then was jailed for his actions. This will be another true story adaptation for Brad and his company, as he took home his first Oscar [6] for his producing work on 12 Years a Slave.
