Wow, he seems so young. I guess I shouldn't be surprised though, I went to Christian schools all my life and tons of people got married when they were 18-22. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that they are waiting to have sex until marriage, so they try to get married ASAP. Congrats to Kevin, at least he dated this girl for 2 years...i know a few couples who got married at his age who had only been together for a few months. I wouldn't be surprised if Joe and Nick got married young too.

I'm very happy for them, i'm his age and i don't think i would want to get married so young but if that's what they want i wish them the best of luck and a happy life. I think that everybody kind of knew that he would be the first to get married, he has said numerous times that Danielle is a wonderful and that they have been together for a while and that he could see himself marrying her, i guess it's about to happen.

Well it's true you do get married sooner when you're waiting to have sex, I know I did. But I've been married for over five years and couldn't be happier. The problem is if you get married for sex not because you love the person.

Amanda-La, I agree. I don't think he's getting married young ONLY because he wants to have sex, but I think it's probably one of the reasons. Like you said, the important thing is to get married for love and not just for sex.

It really isn't that uncommon for someone who is 21-22 to be getting married. A lot of people meet in college and get married at the end of college, which would make them 21 or 22.

I can't believe people are saying they are too young to get married. just because you get married at an early age doesn't mean the marriage is doomed to fail. there are tons of people who get married later in life and wind up getting divorced. most people in this country get married at an early age and there is a 50% divorce rate. my mom got married at 22 and is still married to my dad. my aunt got married when she was 18 and she's been with her husbands for over 30's years now. my brother got married at 23 and still married.

and these 2 have been dating for 2 years. im happy for them and they shouldn't listening to this negativity about getting married young.
