After skipping the hearing where the judge refused to rule on her request to be granted overnights with her kids, Britney is taking matters into her own hands. She apparently decided to show up in court (um, a little late I'd say) to speak to the judge herself. She reportedly just showed up and was greeted with a police escort to help her get in the building. Kevin's lawyer just walked into the courtroom as well. We'll keep you updated as the story develops.
Update: According to TMZ, Britney arrived in jeans and a top, wearing sunglasses (which the judge let her keep on because of a "medical condition" — so she has conjunctivitis, too?). She was sworn in by the commissioner, her lawyer then asked all the media to leave the courthouse. I'm sure it's a complete zoo.
Update #2: The L.A. County Court Commissioner has granted Britney one overnight a week, during which she will be monitored. There is no news as to who the monitor will be. Kevin's lawyer said that after negotiation, they all agreed to "slightly increase" Britney's visitation rights.
