Britney's Retail Therapy Is Paying Off!

Looks like someone is rewarding themselves after a successful week. Britney is still in good spirits and her daily shopping sprees on Robertson Blvd might be helping ease any pain. Obviously her destination of choice is crowded with cameras, but something tells me if Miley walked by they would all stay focused on Brit Brit. She even got the police escort again through the crazy crowd. And the good news keeps on coming. Along with nice reports from Kevin's lawyers, and a possible sitcom show of her own, rumor is the folks at HIMYM want Britney back on their show again as well. Who wouldn't want to spend a little of that hard earned cash? Now if only she purchased a bra during that trip.

Not sure where you're getting your info Mykie, but Streisand, Julia, Sally Fields and Dustin Hoffman all have homes in Los Angeles. Although Streisand mostly stays in Malibu, which is LA County, not city. In the last year I've seen a couple of paparazzi shots of Streisand, Hoffman and Julia out on errands or leaving a restaurant in the West Los Angeles area, not far from where these pics were taken, but like the majority of real celebs, they know how to stay out of the public eye most of the time. In Los Angeles you can buy almost anything. Stores and designers will deliver a truck load of items to your house on spec, often through a stylist, or let a celeb in a store for after hours shopping. There's really no need to distort reality. Britney chooses to wander into the paparazzi shopping zones. Some stores have let her in after hours, but apparently she prefers to go in the middle of the day when the cameras are all around. I'm really sure that the judge will not be impressed with this as any indication that she's a better mother.

I understand when ppl criticize her for going clubbing all the time BUT this is shopping!! Something we do ALL the time. We don't get criticised for shopping so why should she?

Tia, but we DO see them. Okay, I'll give you not shopping for CLOTHES, but those shots have been out there too. I think the difference there is that they DO shop online. Could Brit do that? Yeah sure, but I get the feeling she's an "instant gratification" kinda chick, and doesn't want to wait for shipping. I don't know that I can fault her for that, because I'm the same way. If I want something and have the money for it, I'd SO much rather go buy it at a store (Even though I DETEST SHOPPING) and have it NOW than have to wait for it. My point was that if you live in LA and do ANYTHING out in public, your picture will be taken. ALL of the celebs you listed Tia, DO live in LA but they are also photographed alot. Some more frequently than others that is true, but several of them also have their own clothing lines, which means they probably have more stuff sent TO them to eliminate going OUT shopping.

We don't see Reese Witherspoon shopping for clothes, we don't see ScarJo shopping for clothese, we don't see Mandy Moore shopping for clothes, we don't see Heidi Klum shopping for clothese...heck, we really don't see Nicole Richie shopping for clothes.

LMAO Good choice of people to compare her to Ginger since Julia doesn't LIVE IN LA. Neither does Streisand OR Hoffman. Pick a celeb that DOES live there to compare her to that doesn't get seen. You can't can you? Nope, because if you live in LA and shop and shop and are a celebrity, you're seen. Period.

I'm pretty sure Julia Roberts has gotten new clothing for herself and her kids in the last couple of years, and yet we don't see her shopping on Robertson Blvd. and rarely elsewhere. Although we do see pap shots at restaurants of Aniston and Courtney Cox, you don't see them out shopping much. Even shop-o-holic Katie Holmes manages to mostly avoid the cameras. (Sometimes you still catch a glimpse.) Then there's the old school Hollywood like Streisand, Dustin Hoffman, Sally Fields, etc. The rest of Hollywood manages to get clothes and groceries regularly, yet somehow it's mostly Britney and Heidi Montag who get photographed on their errands. Curious, huh?

You are 100% right, Ginger. I think it is very sad how Britney has pretended to be the victim of the media for so long, when really she chases after it. Look at all the people that have bought it! I work in the industry, and I know what stars who truly value their privacy do to protect it. I also know what stars who WANT paparazzi attention do to get it. Brit is in the latter group.

As for her brief visits with the kids, did she win some visitation right in court that I missed? Last I recall, Kevin has full custody and took the initiative to arrange these visits. Obviously he's had to inform the court and have the court monitor present, but my understanding is that he didn't have to do this. Since the judge has criticized all the publicity runs (aka shopping with the paparazzi) in the past, I would think that taking these high profile shopping trips that attract attention would not be a positive move towards winning back some custody. There are a lot more famous people in Los Angeles who manage to get new clothes all the time without our seeing it. Britney chooses to wander around in front of the cameras and pretend its shopping.

Okay Bri, so what's mine say? That I'm a kick a** vampire slayer? WOOHOO! Bring 'em on. And Blob is 100% right. The docs come to her. We don't see her all day every day, what we see are very little minutes of her days, so what's she doing with the rest of her days at home? Hmmmm, could it be that she's taking parenting classes, learning coping techniques, talking to her lawyers? WOW, I guess it COULD be couldn't it? It also could NOT be those things, all I'm saying is that we honestly have NO IDEA what she's doing except for the few little pictures we see that are brief snippets out of her day.

Also, if you pay the lawyers enough they'll let you call them 24 hours a day. They wouldn't fire her if she was just asking what I can do to get my kids back.
