Britney's Sleepovers, Shopping and Comeback Tour!

Britney Spears went to court (when she was good and ready) and was able to get one night a week monitored sleepovers with her boys. Apparently she was either "respectful" or totally terrible depending on who you want to believe. After court, Britney took herself shopping at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills to celebrate. A little retail therapy is good for anyone but since this is pretty much all Britney does everyday, maybe she should get back to preparing for her album release, which is less than 3 weeks away. Rumor is she is also holding auditions for dancers for her next video for the second single from Blackout. She may even be back on tour real soon. Sounds much safer than out at night in L.A.

I doubt she does a tour for this album. You don't have to do a tour everytime your release an album, do you? And, hey! We havn't seen photos of her leaving a club in a couple days!

Just because someone doesn't think she COULD tour, doesn't mean that they believe the rumors that she WILL tour. It is just an opinion about speculation...which is what fun gossip sites are all about. No need for drama!

Melissa Rae, you seem a little too wound up in defending Britney to give anyone else any credit here. If you go back and actually read the comments, hardly anyone even commented on the prospect of a tour, and those of us who did, mostly commented that she didn't seem capable of touring. I don't think anyone who saw the VMAs or her video thinks she is ready to tour. Jive has been saying since last summer that they planned to do NO support for the album. Zip! I commented on it months ago, so that isn't exactly news. But sometimes things change. This week Jive announced they were moving up the release date because of the leaks. Who believes that? Hasn't almost every song already leaked, so that ship has sailed. They are trying to recoup their investment as best they can by not dropping the CD the same week as bigger sellers like Alicia Keys and Celine Dion. If Britney actually did top the charts, don't you think Jive would be hoping for a tour? Although I still say she's probably difficult to get insurance on.

You know what, Melissa Rae...I actually quite like you!!! Out of all the Britney sympathizers you are the most rational!!! I will say that although the record company may not have any plans for a tour, I'm sure there are probably a few paparazzi netted sound-bytes of her dreaming up one...she's just that out of touch with reality, and of course...SHE BLOWS!!! :-)

Yes, when its an official statement from the label - you know, the company releasing it, yes, I'm taking that at face value. Over the word of someone who admittedly hasn't been informed of anything, he's just taking note of the reserved time which he admitted was stated for a video but *THINKS* it could be for a tour. I'll wait to hear from the label before I start ranting about how she should be home or in a mental ward rather than touring. Its not confirmed yet and you're all getting your panties in a bunch.
