According to US Weekly, boyfriend of more than two years Jason Trawick popped the question to the pop star during his 40th birthday dinner Thursday night in LA. Engagement rumors have run rampant in the past . . . many believed Jason was going to drop down on one knee near Brit's 30th birthday earlier this month, while others speculated a proposal had already taken place since Britney has been spotted sporting a diamond on her ring finger. Speaking of the ring, Britney alluded to the bauble on Twitter, saying: [Pull quote] "OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I've been waiting for. Can't wait to show you! SO SO SO excited! Xxo." This will be Brit's third time tying the knot. She was married to childhood friend Jason Alexander for 55 hours in 2004 and walked down the aisle later that year to say "I Do" to Kevin Federline. That marriage lasted two years. Word is Brit and her husband-to-be Jason will celebrate their engagement tonight in Las Vegas.
