Britney and Jamie Lynn's Wonderful Sisterly Reunion
Britney made a special trip back home to Kentwood for Jamie Lynn's baby shower last weekend, and OK! Magazine scored the exclusive photos of the Spears women back together again. It's refreshing to see the ladies taking the standard group party photos, and Jamie Lynn's sash just makes the family seem even more down to earth. Inside the issue, JL opens up about the weekend and how great it was to spend some time with her big sister again. Here are highlights:
- On having her sister home for the weekend: "It was wonderful to be able to spend time with her and just be girls again. We painted our nails and did stupid stuff. To be able to be in the privacy of our own home and just be sisters again was wonderful."
- On Britney's parenting advice: "She told me, 'There are going to be some long nights, but it is completely worth it.'"
- On Britney returning to Louisiana for the birth: "Nothing is set in stone, but that would be wonderful. I'd love to have her here for that, but you can't plan that far ahead."
Britney has plenty of her own issues to deal with right now, but being a caring big sister to Jamie Lynn is still a priority. Now that Brit's been making some progress with her custody battle — and even spending Mother's day with her boys — hopefully it won't be long before the whole family is reunited again with three little ones to chase after.

1Is it me or does Britney look like a giant compared to everyone? Maybe its the camera angle?
2She is taller than everyone and has heels on. Her mom is a midget. I like B's dress. Still not a fan of the whole shebang though.

10i think this was good for britney, i think she needs to go back to louisiana for a little while and just hang out with jamie lynn and get away from LA. she needs a break from the chaos.
11I think it's a different picture of the two sisters together. If you look at the small details, like foot position, the sash, where the hair falls, Jamie Lynn looks different, although Britney might be photoshopped from the group photo.
12I think it is good for them to come together in a positive note...even if it is for a teenage baby shower.

17Well Acyl, her babies are in LA and they're in custody with their father. So, she couldn't drag her kids with her to Louisiana and if she stayed in Louisiana alone, she couldn't see her kids nor would she be able to finally have them back if she completely left them with their father.

Funny coming from a "girl" that is about to give birth! Maybe she should have thought about this before she was out getting pregnant at 16. Hope she realizes she single handedly screwed herself outta time to just be a girl.

26Jamielynn looks good you can't even tell she's pregnant really. I think the only reason that Britney looks so gianty is because she's wearing like 6 or 7 inch espradrillas, whereas everyone else is wearing flipflops or little kittenheels.

34The only one who looks good is their midget mother. The rest look like my Mid-West cousins anno 1981 = very unfashionable, slightly overweight and uncool. The only thing missing to complete Brit's look is a big,colourful scrunchy.....

37Yeah, I think Britney only looks so much taller than the rest of them is because of her shoes. I'm guessing the Spears family have some kind of deal with OK! now, so that they get all the stories.
On another topic, the Jen headline " Jen's love dilemma-Is John the one?" cracks me up. Hasn't it only been a week or something?
