Britney Spears May Go From Special Guest to Full-Time Star

Britney Spears was caught in a too infrequent smiling moment running around in her hoodie on Saturday night. We love seeing her so happy, especially since she deserves it for getting herself together these past few weeks. The good news seems to keep rolling in, and the latest is that Jamie is working on getting Britney her own TV show after her performance on How I Met Your Mother proved to be ratings gold. Her dad might just be trying to keep Brit busy, but we'd love to see her on the small screen again — and it seems like most of you would tune in, too.

oh my word, is that Britney dressed normal? :O oh wait, missed those cowboy boots. but otherwise, she's looking better. her stint on HIMYM was funny, and not too over the top, especially since sarah chalke was a main character on the show. i'm hopeful for her recovery more and more these days, especially with that Rudolph guy back in the picture.but like someone said, we shouldn't be thinking she's allll better just because she's got a smile, a tv stint, and better clothes. but they are signs of good change! :)

I really do hope the best for her... but she should get rid of those horrible boots ASAP... pleaseeeeeeeee!!!! Jamie Spears should throw them away or maybe auction them... they would get a good price... those boots were the BAD BRITNEY signature!!!!

I'm right there with you Blondie. I don't think I HAVE EVER rooted for a star to "get it together" as much as I have for Brit. Maybe because (at least in MY memory) there hasn't been anyone that fell as hard and fast as she did. I just looked up Tallulah Bankhead on Wiki. What a sad story! I have a thing for underdogs, so I'd have probably been pulling for her too. LOL

i'm so proud of her for getting her stuff together. :) this is one of the first pics i've seen of her looking calm, happy, and casually put-together. YAY Brit!i agree with you guys on her own show...it's not a good idea, but she could keep popping up here and there on tv shows.

This girl is still not well, just cause shes smiling and she repeated a few lines on a tv show doesnt mean shes alright. I really hope ppl dont start bombarding her with things to do when all she needs to do is chill out, get better and raise her children. No we dont need to see brit brit on TV right now. she needs a break. A few weeks of avoiding the paps doesnt mean anything, this girl is far from alright.

Brian, I know I saw that earlier today. LARRY RUDOLPH! That's heading in the right direction. If anyone can get her career back on track he's certainly the best one to start. But again, I don't think we'll EVER get the "old" Brit back. She'll be all new and improved! Like a used car! Wrecked, rebuilt and better than ever!

Umm...i do agree that she did an awesome job on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER... But...isn't that too much --- getting her own show?!! They need to pace themselves. I think she can do things - one at a time. She might go crazy again when she's pressured to do things.

P.S. I love Britney, she's the *soo* new Tallulah Bankhead of our time, she just needs to work on her Britannic clip with someone like Gwyneth or Madonna.
