Britney Spears and her boyfriend, David Lucado, were out in LA yesterday. The singer cradled one of her precious pups during the outing as David admired her nurturing interaction. In a recent interview, Britney said she wants more kids, preferably a little girl to even out her home base with sons Sean Preston and Jayden James Federline.

Britney's dream of a baby girl may be on hold, though, since she will be hitting the recording studio hard starting next week. On Wednesday, Will.i.am confirmed that he is the executive producer on Britney's eighth studio album and that their upcoming studio sessions are an extension of their longtime "bonding." He went on to say he has never worked with anyone in such a close and trusting environment, including The Black Eyed Peas. In the meantime, Will.i.am is headed to Las Vegas to perform at Sunday's Billboard Music Awards, while Britney is headlining her own Sin City show at Planet Hollywood starting in the Fall.

She was joined by her former kindred X Factor judge Demi Lovato as well as performers Avril Lavigne, Bruno Mars, and Maroon 5's Adam Levine. Britney wore a formfitting black dress as she took the stage to introduce the acts, marking her first onstage appearance since she left The X Factor back in January. While she didn't perform this time around, Britney fans will get a chance to see the singer perform live soon as she confirmed last week that she will be taking up a residency in Las Vegas. The concert series, which will reportedly be held at Planet Hollywood, will begin in the Fall. Preparing for Sin City isn't the only thing on Britney's mind — she recently tweeted that she is reading The Goddess Inheritance, a YA novel by Aimee Carter.

Her casual day with her man comes just one day after she confirmed to Shape magazine that she will be signing on for a Las Vegas residency. While she didn't reveal the exact location, new reports hint that Britney will perform at Planet Hollywood in Sin City starting in the Fall. There still isn't confirmation on how long the show will last, but more details are expected to be released by the end of the month by Caesars Entertainment, who own Planet Hollywood and will be producing the pop star's massive gig.
