I would be so furious at my mother too if she was hanging out with my ex-husband and if I felt like she was siding with him in a custody dispute over my children. I feel so bad for her mother. She gave up so much so Britney could try and have a career (her sucess wasnt guarenteed). She took a big gamble for her daughter's happiness, and this is how she is repaid.

I think it is in her children's best interest for the grandmother and father to get along...for the sake of the kids you have to get over the petty little stuff. It is also good for the kids if their mother and stepmother get along...but Brit is too selfish to get over that as well.

Hey I really cant stand Brit but I actually believe her when she says her mom is addicted to pain meds. That Hollywood world is crazy and I could see her mom taking Vicodin and the like. It explains a lot of her behavior. Just like LL and Dina. Granted Brit can and should make her own choices.

Her mom came in and said, "Don't let them pressure you into doing something you aren't comfortable with. Britney then turned around and unbuttoned her shirt. Britney decided to make it where her entire shirt was open and fully exposed her bra and belly.

Pinkgirl, her mom might have been a little naive. I think that most parents can not invision a situation where there child has more power than they do. They think that because they are the guardian, the child can't sign contracts with out them and their signature, that they have some amount of control.

But if you have a 16 year old girl who is dying to get out of her clothes infront of people, and a society that is dying to see that child out of her clothes, and they world is going behind your back to take care of her every whim, there is really nothing you can do.

Society didn't want to see her out of her clothes prior to her apearing half dressed in a video... it was a calculated move by her handlers to create a lolita star... hey it worked they created a super star and all made millions and millions of dollars... it was of course at the cost of her daughters sanity.

To a large degree, I feel badly for Brit. She grew up in a society that most of us don't understand and will never understand (I'm grateful for this). Most girls aren't born with the idea of "I'm going to be a slut". I doubt it was bred into her when she was conceived.

By the same token, her mother might have gotten stuck between the love of her daughter to try to achieve her dream and the pain of watching her daughter get poked and proded into that dream, and in doing so, watch her become the megastar that simply couldn't take the pressure. At this point, I see Britney as a young girl mentality who just can't get it quite right at this point because she didn't deal with the growing pains everyone else did - and now she learns them in the spotlight, making very bad errors.

According to Britney, it was her idea to change the Baby One More Time outfit, and to tie the shirt at her waist.

Sorry, she isn't a victim. Doesnt her current behavior suggest that is just the type of person she is? She took the top of her dress down as she was walking to her car, showing her team of paps her nips! She walks out of dressing rooms with out her top on, she wears sheer shirts all the time, and rarely wears a bra. She bends over at a 90 degree angle when she is wearing a teeny tiny mini skirt!

I think her actions speak for themselves. 10 flashes in 1 year is just not normal.
