Is Britney's NYE a Sign of a Better '08?

Britney Spears and her boys rang in the new year with a quiet night away from LA and the club scene. While that's far better than last year when she passed out while hosting a party in Vegas, it wouldn't be Britney without a little questionable behavior. Also joining the pop star and her boys was Adnan Ghalib, the married paparazzo that Britney recently befriended. Ugh, he seems a bit sleazy, but it's better than being out partying. So tell us — is this the sign of a better 2008 for Britney?

Have you been smoking something? You really need to stop grasping at straws to justify Britney's insane inexcusable behavior. Way to go with your enabling.And I've slept over a married couple's house that were friends, but I didn't shack up alone with the hubby! And I wouldn't. And I wouldn't allow my husband to go to a hotel room with a single woman. That's just madness.

Her lawyers say,"There has been a breakdown in communications between [Britney] and Trope and Trope making further representation of her interests impossible." PLUS, she didn't show up for her deposition today, which TMZ is saying is a factor in the lawyer-client break up. x17, Britney's fav paparazzi, say that she checked into a Palm Springs hotel at 2am, and out at 7am. Did all of the hotels in LA ban her? Guess we know why she missed her deposition.

The way she is starting 2008, it will be amazing if she is still alive at the end of the year. Adnan will probably make a million dollars with all the exclusive photos she is letting him have of her and her children. She only gets one night a week with her kids and she chooses to bring Adnan in? Very poor judgment and not putting the children's needs first. She went from being the most desired young woman in the world to not having a single friend, other than the paparazzi she invited into her home. I don't understand how any fan can defend this.

Not a surprise that her own lawyers have quit again. She's only fighting Kevin for the kids to make his life miserable. She clearly doesn't want her kids. I'm sure Kevin would give her visitation...she needs help!

On the plus side, on her last public outing, she looked pretty good. Adnan seems slightly less sleazy than Sam (I said "slightly".) On the minus side, we're still talking about Britney here. I agree with all of the other comments here. Chances are, she did something pretty horrific over the holidays, and due to her laying low over the last 5 days, there's no public evidence of it.

Here's hoping he's not as trashy as she can be!I do have married guy friends that I hang out with. Spend the night with? Hell no. Take a trip with? Yeah not so much.
