Brittany Murphy Single Again

Brittany Murphy fell in love with the nice guy on the crew of her movie set but the two won't make it to the altar. They met on the set of Little Black Book so insert joke here. People reports:

The two "have amicably ended their engagement. They remain close friends and wish each other much happiness," a rep for Murphy tells PEOPLE.

Last Sunday, Murphy showed up at the Teen Choice Awards without her engagement ring. Asked about her wedding plans in the press room, the actress became evasive before saying, "Everything is going wonderful, thank you. I'm just living every moment, you know, enjoying my day."

This is engagement number two that has been called off for Ms Murphy. Looks like someone is a clueless fiance. Maybe she'll have better luck the third time.

Well at least she realises she doesn't want to spend the rest of her life with these guys b4 she actually marries them.. Maybe she thought he was a keeper because the guy would actually wait 17 dates before he was even allowed to kiss her.

17 dates? Hehe it reminds me of 40yearold virgin, when he'd count down the dates. :-) And Britney can only play 2 types of roles: psychotics (girl interrupted and don't say a word) and trashy girls (8mile, summer catch, clueless, pretty much every movie she's been in)

I don't know that she really jumped the gun and got engaged in a hurry because if you read the full article on People's website it stated that they went on 17 dates before they even kissed. I can't help but remember her from "Clueless" every time I see her.

For whatever reason (insecurity? happily ever after syndrome?) most hollywood types like to get engaged after their 3rd date instead of dating past the infatuation phase before deciding on what's supposed to be a lifetime commitment. I also feel bad for her, but maybe now she's learned not to jump the gun?

I like her in that movie with Ashton kutcher, I forgot the name. It's very funny. She isn't a bad actress, she's ok for me. I don't hate her but I don't love her. :)

I like her, I think she has more talent than most starlets her age. I also don't think "clueless fiance" is the right term, maybe she just didn't want to marry this man. There is nothing wrong with that. I liked her in "Sidewalks of New York" and "Sin City".

I don't hate Brittany Murphy. I don't LOVE her, though, either. It's great that she has these romances that (it seems) she can get all caught up in. And I'm glad she doesn't get to the altar when she's not ready. I don't hate her, and I don't get the impression that she's high maintenance. Maybe that's just me...
