The model and actress attended the WonderCon panel for the film over the weekend with director Peter Berg, where they chatted with PopSugar Editor Lindsay Miller about what it was like casting Brooklyn in such a big-budget movie. Let's just say Peter had a very special test to see if she was up to the challenge. PETER BERG: With Brooklyn, she was a Sports Illustrated girl and obviously a great beauty, and everybody loves her, but we had to push all of that aside and whoop her ass for four or five auditions, you know, get those snot bubbles. She couldn't get the job, until she cried so hard and was so scared that there were snot bubbles, so we were all looking for them. BROOKLYN DECKER: I made snot bubbles. Brooklyn passed the test and the film is out this May, but we also got a peek at another upcoming release during our time at WonderCon — Joseph Gordon Levitt's Looper where he plays opposite Bruce Willis. LINDSAY MILLER: Joe told us he underwent complete transformation in order to play a young Bruce Willis in Looper. JOSEPH GORDON-LEVITT: You know, I wore these prosthetics on my face to make me look a bit more like him. That was a trip, to look in the mirror and see a face that's just different and walk up to my mom, and she's like [makes a face] As an actor, that's what I love, becoming somebody else. WonderCon came to a close yesterday, but during our time there, we also got a peek at Michael Fassbender and Charlize Theron in Prometheus, Kristen Stewart and Charlize in Snow White and the Huntsman, and more films, giving us plenty to look forward to in the coming months.
