i am extremely upset about the recasting of rachelle, honestly as a fan i cant believe this. i personally cant say that it is her dads doing, because i dont know for sure, but i can say taht they are making a huge mistake. i find that now that they are changing such a major thing, i can't support that. like now i think these movies are going to turn out like harrypotter. you mite as well not even base it on the books anymore, the third book is SO important and with the fighting sequence at the end, now a different face is going to be a distraction. the production company is going to let alot of people down, and i really do not appreciate the fact that now, something iwas soo excited to see put to life, is now going to be another dissapointment. there is no doubt in my mind that they have made a huge mistake, i dont blame bryce because im pretty sure she wasnt behind rachelle's dismissal however, it seems a little too fishy for her to suddenly be available while her dads in charge.. im not pleased and i will probably boycott the movies now. its just plain ridiculous.

Oh and did anyone realize that almost every movie Bryce appered in was a stank sequel, or a stinker. If Eclipse ends up being like one of those movies, I'm just going to stick to the books.

WTF!! I'm so not happy with what they're doing. Bryce doesn't even look anything like i would've imagined Victoria. Rachalle matches that role. I swear alot of people are going to walk out of the movie thearter pissed if they change anything else.

Oh, dear. I know who Ron Howard is. I just said i got to know Bryce first, and then I got to know her dad, as I didn't even know he was her father. And even if I did not know who he was, I don't see WHY my opinion should be taken off record. But yes, I've watched A Beautiful Mind, Da Vinci Code, Frost/Nixon and not going to watch angels and demons. Just didn't know they were related. I thought she was talented without the perception her dad was responsible for her jobs. And clearly, I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to anonymous posters that are so disrespectful sometimes (just read the comment saying she ugly and talentless or the one saying "And what movies has Bryce been in", like she's not big deal and unknown). And yes, I was referring to some people in the Twilight world that creates some speculation and lies. Really don't know why you think I was calling you disrespectful. I just think people have and idea/speculation and take no time to check the facts. Some Twilight fans are really insane and passionate about things. I didn't even know you are a Twilight so I don't really know you got so offended with stuff I said. And despite my personal opinion, that according to you should be taken off record, you can't go off spreading speculation when you don't even know the truth.

A hint for those who are not clever enough: imdb.com and you'll find out that she was on Spider Man 3, Terminator, The Village and others. It amazes how people are mean spirited in this world. Suddenly this Summit makes this and people all over are bashing this amazing talent that is Bryce. It's not her fault. Just stop for a minute and watch her in "The Village". The girl is talented (unlike some actresses out there like Stewart). I thought she was absolutely amazing and I didn't even know who has Ron Howard, let alone that she was his daughter. Now because she has the luck (or the bad luck) to be Howard's daughter everybody is second guessing her talent. Just stop being meanies and do some research. And if you don't want to do research on her job, at least have some respect. If you are going to blame her for Rachelle's dismissal, at least have some proof of that. cibele -- there are probably hundreds of undiscovered talent that can rival great actresses in the industry. i am SURE that her father is still helping her get a few parts. i mean, c'mon, having the label as ron howard's daughter. can't go wrong with that label. she is at an advantage over others

Oh please, Bryce is a very talented actress. It amazes me people blaming her for nepotism. Girl has class, looks and lots of talent. Nothing against Rachelle, but don't blame Bryce for the production company mistakes. Watch one of her movies instead of accusing people of such things.

Twilight Fans are not happy! I don't think there is a scheduling conflict. They made scheduling conflicts work for Cam Gigandet (James) and Elizabeth Reaser (Esme) was filling a tv show and they worked around it. What a coincident the find Ron Howards daughter. She does not fit the role. As a Twilight Fan I am not happy. Also Summit did it to director catherine hardwicke, then talked about replacing Taylor Lautner and now this!
