Last night at the 2012 Critics' Choice Television Awards, Busy Philipps wore a sexy plunging black gown, but it was her Irene Neuwirth boulder necklace that really stole the show. Even if we're not attending fabulous red-carpet affairs, we all have black dresses that are in dire need of accessorizing. Whether your black dress is plunging like Busy's — here is something supersimilar by Issa ($588) — or it's high-neck, strapless, or any other style, it will get a major injection of life the next time you go out when you select one of our handpicked statement necklaces below.
Last night's Critics' Choice Television Awards honored the best of the small screen, with major nods going to best comedy series Community and best drama series Homeland. Modern Family's Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell were honored with respective actress and actor statues for a comedy series, and they had costars Nolan Gould, Ariel Winter, and Sarah Hyland on hand to offer congrats. Corresponding drama accolades went to Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston and Homeland's Claire Danes.
The cast of Community was on hand to pick up their prize, as was best actress in a movie or miniseries, Julianne Moore of Game Change. Christina Hendricks likewise took the stage to accept supporting actress in a drama series for Mad Men. The event featured many other TV stars, like Cougar Town's Busy Philipps and Josh Hopkins, as well as Once Upon a Time's Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas. Many of the ladies celebrated after walking the Critics' Choice red carpet, and the gang reconvened for a late-night party to toast the winners.
The second annual Critics' Choice Television Awards at The Beverly Hilton in LA Monday evening brought out plenty of small-screen stars. Cougar Town's Busy Philipps posed for the cameras in Michael Kors on the red carpet and chatted with us about her character's potentially racy future. Her costar and fellow presenter Josh Hopkins was also on hand, showing off his tan after a trip to Hawaii for the Maui Film Festival. Ariel Winter from Modern Family got candid about the surprising season finale, while Ginnifer Goodwin arrived with her boyfriend and Once Upon a Time costar, Josh Dallas. Also on hand for the event were nominees Justin Long, Gillian Anderson, Kevin Costner, Julianne Moore, and Cheryl Hines. The show is underway now and we're on the scene in the press room, so stay tuned for updates from the winners!
During a trip to the hair salon in LA, Busy Philipps was spotted looking trendy cute in a tribal-print minidress, which she paired with these Rebecca Minkoff gold-rimmed sunglasses ($150), a statement spike necklace, this Vince Camuto Cristina crossbody bag ($158), and tan tassel wedge sandals. The tribal print has been popular for a while now, but with Summer rolling in, it's the perfect time to resurrect it. If you don't yet have a tribal-print dress in your mix, shop nine of our favorites below. To mimic Busy's look, add this spike necklace by Tasha ($98) and her exact Rebecca Minkoff shades.
We've seen a variety of undone topknots this season, but this week, it was all about the polished bun. While sleeker than its laid-back cousin, the pristine pin-up is just as cool, especially since it can be positioned in a variety of ways. Lily Collins, for example, wore the chic style in a voluminous puff that spanned from the crown to the occipital bone, while Zoe Saldana situated hers somewhere in between. Busy Philipps moved her bun closer to the face, though, so that it peeked out straight from the top. All three looks are as classy as they come, but which one gets your vote in this week's poll?
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen won womenswear designers of the year for their work on The Row at last night's CFDA Awards in NYC. MK debuted a darker 'do to match her all-black look, while Ashley mixed things up with a pretty purple number from their award-winning line for the exciting evening. The celebrated twins were joined by some of the biggest names in fashion, including Rachel Zoe, Kate Bosworth, and Zoe Saldana. Rachel was in a dress of her own design and tweeted a photo of herself and husband Rodger Berman looking dapper as they stepped out to the event. Zoe Saldana's Prabal Gurung gown was particularly jaw-dropping, while Jessica Chastain donned her own girly concoction from the same designer. Busy Philipps looked sexy in her tight pants number, while Julianne showed some skin in her red Kaufman Franco bit. Fashionologie was on the scene for all the action, so check out the CFDA red-carpet and behind-the-scenes highlights, and stay tuned for lots more action from the big night!

Scarlett Johansson and Busy Philipps soaked up the sun at a hotel in Montecito, CA, on Friday. The ladies lounged poolside and chatted during their warm afternoon, during which Busy also took a dip in the water. Scarlett's bikini body was covered up in a black maxi dress once she wrapped up the fun. It was just the beginning of an exciting weekend though, since Busy and Scarlett were only a few of the famous guests, including Jimmy Fallon, Cameron Diaz, and Reese Witherspoon, that attended pal Drew Barrymore's wedding. Drew and Will Kopelman married in a private ceremony at her home on Saturday. The couple, who are also expecting their first child, shared news of their engagement in January and have been busy planning their nuptials since.
