Cameron Diaz was surrounded by love and laughter as she celebrated her 42nd birthday on Saturday. Pals Gwyneth Paltrow and Drew Barrymore were among the ladies who surprised Cameron with a fun celebration away from the limelight. Celebrity makeup artist Gucci Westman snapped a few Instagrams of the party, including a selfie with Drew, Rashida Jones, and Gwyneth's ex, Chris Martin. Cameron's boyfriend, Benji Madden, with whom she shared a PDA-heavy vacation in late July, looked to be snapping a photo of Cameron as she blew out her candles.

Cameron and Gwyneth were captivated by polo player and Ralph Lauren model Nacho Figueras at an event celebrating Goop's collaboration with DVF. Gwyneth hosted the event at her home in East Hampton, NY, in late August.
