Earlier today, we told you that Joaquin Phoenix is working on a career as a rapper after announcing his retirement from acting back in October. Most of you will miss seeing Joaquin on the big screen, and while we knew he was exploring his musical side, we never thought rapping was going to be his next endeavor. I just watched the clip of Joaquin rapping on TMZ...LOL!!! That was so hilarious, but also so scary because it is not a joke people...he actually is giving up acting to rap...and what is worse, he is getting coached by Diddy. Too sad...

Joaquin is a great actor, so I'm really disappointed he's not acting anymore. Maybe if he weren't already famous he could have been a rapper, but no, I can't see it at all. It just doesn't seem to fit his persona. When the story first came out, I really couldn't see him being any kind of singer (no matter how well he played Johnny Cash). I just don't get what in the world he's thinking; it's so bizarre!
