Cate Blanchett and Her Son Ignatius Eating Ice Cream

Cate Blanchett shared a scoop of ice cream with her youngest son, Ignatius, in LA yesterday. She was back to mom duty after spending a glamorous night out at the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards on Monday. Cate was honored at the annual event alongside fellow winners Sarah Jessica Parker, Octavia Spencer, and Emma Watson. She'll soon move on to her next project, an untitled Terrence Malick movie that is currently filming in Texas. Natalie Portman, Rooney Mara, and Ryan Gosling have been on set in recent days, though Natalie did break from work to spend time with her family in Austin earlier this week. Cate will be back in the spotlight in the coming months to promote The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey before it hits theaters in December.
