It's been a while since we've seen Cate Blanchett, but the actress popped up in Paris while touring the chic city in an equally chic ensemble. While she and her family checked out the sights, we set our eyes on her crisp navy-and-white outfit: a white button-down, a navy ribbed cardigan, navy cropped pants, oxfords, and a two-tone crossbody bag. With wedding season upon us, if you're playing tourist in Europe for your upcoming honeymoon, we suggest copying Cate's Parisian outfit for one of the days when you want to be comfy but look completely chic.

Miranda Kerr Gets in on Award Season Down Under
Miranda Kerr had a busy evening in Sydney last night, arriving at the city's Opera House in a minidress, paired with a Burberry bag, before changing into a long Collette Dinnigan gown for the AACTA Awards. Miranda, her husband Orlando Bloom, and their son Flynn Bloom arrived down under on Saturday, and have spent the last few days catching up with their Kerr relatives. Miranda broke from the family time, though, to start yesterday morning at a shoot for British Vogue. Miranda Kerr wore a bikini for the cameras, and gamely spent her morning posing out on a boat.
It was the first-ever AACTA Awards, which honored Australian arts. Miranda tweeted that the event had been "a wonderful night for Australian film and television!" Her fellow famous Aussie Cate Blanchett went out to support the launch as well, wearing a gorgeous gold McQueen dress.

Jewelry Brings Adriana Lima, Cate Blanchett, and Ewan McGregor Together in Geneva
Adriana Lima, Cate Blanchett, and Ewan McGregor were drawn to Geneva yesterday for the SIHH High Jewellery Fair. After browsing the watches and gems on display in the afternoon, the trio dressed up for the night's IWC Schaffhausen "Top Gun" gala. Adriana was decked out in Rene Caovilla shoes and a tight white dress that was met with approval from the guys — Ewan checked out Adriana, and was hilariously caught in the act! Adriana was happy to make the rounds with other stars like British actress Rosamund Pike, who will star opposite Tom Cruise in his upcoming One Shot. Also there was Brazilian author Paulo Coelho; Adriana tweeted about being particularly excited to meet him.
The Swiss trip comes just after an exciting week in LA for Ewan. He attended Sunday's Golden Globes, and was spotted making the afterparty rounds with wife Eve Mavrakis following the show. Ewan also attended last Wednesday's People's Choice Awards and did a great deal of press for his movie Haywire, which is out Friday. Ewan dished on the all-out fight scenes in the new Steven Soderbergh movie when we caught up with him at the junket one week ago.

Hanna: A Little Off the Mark
Too often in movies, we're presented with strong female characters that can throw punches and scale walls with ease, but they're so done up that it's hard to take them seriously as heroines. But Hanna (Saoirse Ronan) is the real deal. At only sixteen, she avoids those femme fatale stereotypes and solely focuses on one thing: kicking ass.

In Hanna, Ronan reteams with her Atonement director Joe Wright for the dark story of a girl raised as an assassin by her ex-CIA father (Eric Bana). They've lived in hiding together so he can protect his daughter from an enemy from his past, intelligence agent Marissa Weigler (Cate Blanchett). But when Hanna very proactively reveals their location, Marissa launches into pursuit to track Hanna in a large-scale chase across Europe.

How You Can Help Donate 30 Million Gallons of Water
Want to help disadvantaged people get the fresh drinking water they need? Luxury skin care brand SK-II (along with its spokeswoman, Cate Blanchett) just launched a major potable water charity initiative, Clear for Life, and Internet denizens can participate.
When you hit "click to donate" on the SK-II web portal, the company will promise a liter of clean water to people in need. It's already promised to donate 30 million gallons, so while clicking isn't strictly necessary, it's a great way to show that you support this kind of charity initiative.
The technology behind its clean water program is pretty amazing; SK-II will be shipping out PUR packets, which can quickly make up to 10 liters of dirty water drinkable. It's a life-changing technology for people in areas with contaminated water, and a cause well worth a couple of mouse clicks.
Natalie, Reese, Sandra, and More Oscars Ladies Are Red-Hot and Sparkly on the Carpet
There was a great deal of glamour on display at this evening's Oscars. Academy Awards newcomer Hailee Steinfeld led the subtle sparkling trend in a tea length Marchesa, while Cate Blanchett picked lavender Givenchy and Black Swan's Mila Kunis wore a darker purple Elie Saab. Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman stuck with the color theme, wearing Dolce and Gabbana and Rodarte respectively. Amy Adams, meanwhile, went bold in blue with her sequined L'Wren Scott.
Blue Valentine star Michelle Williams, who brought her pal Busy Philipps as her date, dazzled in Chanel, while Nicole Kidman picked a similar hue from Christian Dior. Celine Dion chose a simple and chic white Armani Prive, and Halle Berry stepped out in an ethereal design by Marchesa. Mandy Moore arrived solo in a romantic Monique Lhuillier, and Gwyneth Paltrow's first look of two was a metallic Calvin Klein.
Red was perhaps the night's most popular color, with Jennifer Hudson choosing a bright Versace and Jennifer Lawrence being a knockout in Calvin Klein. Last year's best actress winner, Sandra Bullock, returned in red Vera Wang and the show's host, Anne Hathaway, was decked out in a similar look from Valentino for her first gown. Reese Witherspoon changed things up in black and white Giorgio Armani, and Camila Alves perfectly complemented her partner, Matthew McConaughey, in a black gown.
