Red 2: Bruce Willis Is Back and Kissing Catherine Zeta-Jones

Good news if you thought that 2010's surprise hit about retired black-ops agents Red was a great time, because Bruce Willis and co. are back for another spin. Though Frank (Willis) is happy living a relaxed, nonviolent life with Sarah (Mary-Louise Parker), he gets pulled back into another mission by Marvin (John Malkovich) and Victoria (Helen Mirren). This time, the villain is a glam and mysterious Catherine Zeta-Jones, whose character appears to have a rather intimate past with Frank (or she's just really, really friendly).

The sequel has the same kind of quirkiness as the original and plenty of action, but as with the first installment, the real draw here looks like Mirren, who's both beautiful and badass as a former CIA agent. Red 2 comes out Aug. 1, and you can get a look at the trailer now after the jump.

Golden Globe Awards: Catherine Zeta-Jones

Catherine Zeta-Jones glided onto the Golden Globes stage in a '20s-inspired cream and silver Jenny Packham gown. The embellished top, along with its sheer sleeves, glimmered against the Baroque metallic design. And wait for it — the dynamic top half transitioned into a flowing silver pinstriped skirt. Catherine styled her hair in soft curls, which complemented her vintage-inspired gown, while a few select jewels (look at her stunning bracelet!) made her ready to present the award. What do you think of her silver-embellished look?

Broken City Trailer: It's Mark Wahlberg vs. Russell Crowe

Mark Wahlberg has the role of tough guy down pat, and in Broken City, he's going there again to face off with the most slippery of villains: the dirty politician.

Mark Wahlberg has the role of tough guy down pat, and in Broken City, he's going there again to face off with the most slippery of villains: the dirty politician. Wahlberg is Billy Taggart, a former cop whose heroics earn him the attention of Nicholas Hostetler (Russell Crowe), the NYC mayor who has cleaned up the city (despite his really unfortunate hairstyle). Hostetler wants to use Taggart's special skill set for something under the table — to find out who his cheating wife (Catherine Zeta-Jones) has been seeing. When Hostetler's wife's lover shows up dead, Taggart realizes that Hostetler commits worse crimes than stuffing ballot boxes, but he refuses to be one of the mayor's minions.

Aside from employing one of the most overused trailer songs of the last two years, Kanye West's "Power," the story seems pretty original — and unpredictable. Not only am I interested in seeing who comes out on top here, but I also like seeing Wahlberg pitted against Crowe. They're two actors I wouldn't have picked to play nemeses, but it looks like they have the right chemistry to butt heads. Broken City comes out Jan. 18, and you can watch the trailer after the break.

Playing For Keeps Trailer: Gerard Butler Is a Soccer Mom's Dream

Gerard Butler is quickly becoming the go-to sports guru of the movies.

Gerard Butler is quickly becoming the go-to sports guru of the movies. We recently saw him as a reluctant surf coach in the trailer for Chasing Mavericks, and now he's taking his skills to the soccer field — the peewee soccer field, that is. In Playing For Keeps, Butler is a retired soccer player sharing custody of his young son with his ex (Jessica Biel). Once legendary on the field, he's now reduced to shooting sports news auditions from his living room, in his underwear. He's taken up coaching his son's soccer team, and one of the soccer moms (Catherine Zeta-Jones) may have the hookup for a potential job at ESPN.

Full disclosure: I love hearing Butler speak with his native Scottish brogue. I haven't really been into him in romantic comedies, but this seems like it has a bit more heart to it than, say, The Bounty Hunter. The kid is also superadorable, and I'm curious about the romance story lines with Biel and Zeta-Jones. The movie doesn't open until Dec. 7, but you can check out the trailer when you read more.

Rock of Ages: Tom Cruise Doesn't Have Moves Like Jagger

With big hair, wacky musical numbers, and inspired casting choices, Rock of Ages is just as flashy and flamboyant as you would expect from a musical about the rock scene in 1980s LA — but it's not nearly as entertaining as it could be.

With big hair, wacky musical numbers, and inspired casting choices, Rock of Ages is just as flashy and flamboyant as you would expect from a musical about the rock scene in 1980s LA — but it's not nearly as entertaining as it could be. Based on the hit play, the movie has a star-studded cast, with Tom Cruise at center stage as Stacee Jaxx, the biggest rock star in the Rock of Ages universe. Hoping to follow in his footsteps are Drew (Diego Boneta) and Sherrie (Julianne Hough), who are crazy in love and happen to be aspiring singers. They work at The Bourbon Room, a Sunset Strip venue run by Alec Baldwin and Russell Brand, and Catherine Zeta-Jones is the politician's wife who's trying to shut them down.

The characters chronicle their joys, sorrows, and hopes through classic rock hits, which could be a lot of cheesy fun, but instead, it's just cheesy. Rock of Ages has a killer soundtrack and doesn't take itself too seriously, but it's more ridiculous than rocking. To find out why I think the movie falls flat, just keep reading.

Tom Cruise and Julianne Hough Have a Rollicking Rock of Ages Premiere in LA

Tom Cruise, Julianne Hough, and Diego Boneta posed together on the rock-and-roll-themed Rock of Ages red carpet in LA yesterday evening.

Tom Cruise, Julianne Hough, and Diego Boneta posed together on the rock-and-roll-themed Rock of Ages red carpet in LA yesterday evening. While most big premieres happen midweek, this one was enough of a party to merit the Friday-night spot. The trio, with Julianne standing out in her bright yellow dress, were joined by other costars, including Russell Brand and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Josh Duhamel dressed the part in a long wig and no shirt with Fergie by his side, while Zac Efron kept it casual to check out the scene. Jennifer Aniston's boyfriend Justin Theroux wrote the screenplay for Rock of Ages, and he was looking dapper in a sleek suit, though he didn't have Jen on his arm for the arrivals. Aniston did look sexy in white for an event to honor Shirley MacLaine the night before. Also without a date was Tom Cruise, whose wife Katie Holmes is currently in Asia for her own work obligations.

Rock of Ages: See All of the Pictures From the Movie

If you're ready to rock out Summer-movie style, then you're in luck: the big-screen adaptation of Broadway musical Rock of Ages is coming to theaters on June 15, and we've got tons of awesome pictures from the movie.

If you're ready to rock out Summer-movie style, then you're in luck: the big-screen adaptation of Broadway musical Rock of Ages is coming to theaters on June 15, and we've got tons of awesome pictures from the movie. There's Russell Brand and Alec Baldwin sporting some serious '80s hair, as well as a sweet love story between Diego Boneta and Julianne Hough, but the real draw here is additional looks at Tom Cruise as Stacee Jaxx. Check 'em out.

Dakota, Ivanka, and More Stars Kick off Tribeca With Vanity Fair

Stars like Dakota Fanning, Leelee Sobieski, and Catherine Zeta-Jones gathered last night to celebrate the start of the Tribeca Film Festival at Vanity Fair's kickoff party.

Stars like Dakota Fanning, Leelee Sobieski, and Catherine Zeta-Jones gathered last night to celebrate the start of the Tribeca Film Festival at Vanity Fair's kickoff party. The bash was held at NYC's State Supreme Courthouse and many of the celebs posed for pictures outside before heading in to start the fun with editor in chief Graydon Carter. Leelee, who arrived with her designer husband Adam Kimmel, wore a white gown from Jil Sander. Dakota, one of the festival's judges this year, was pretty in a pink Lanvin. Catherine broke from working on The Bitter Pill to throw on a silver Michael Kors number and let loose alongside husband Michael Douglas. Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner also popped by to say hello during a date night, when their daughter Arabella stayed home. Today marks the official opening of Robert De Niro's 11-year-old cinema event — check out our roundup of highlights from the Tribeca Film Festival since its inception in 2001.

New Rock of Ages Trailer: Tom Cruise and Alec Baldwin Hit It With Their Best Shots

The new full-length trailer is out for Rock of Ages, and guess what?

The new full-length trailer is out for Rock of Ages, and guess what? It's awesome. Alec Baldwin, Russell Brand, and Julianne Hough ain't looking for nothin' but a good time and between their over-the-top commitment to their roles and a little monkey named Heyman, the preview is pretty hilarious. It also gives us more insight into the plot than the original teaser, with a better look at the rest of the cast (welcome to the club, Diego Boneta.)

Aside from sharing director Adam Shankman, Rock of Ages has quite a few parallels to 2007's Hairspray. There's the newcomer trying to make it in showbiz (Boneta), young romance (Boneta and Hough), a troupe of intolerant folks (led by Catherine Zeta-Jones), and of course, lots of music. Oh, and did I mention there's even more (shirtless) Tom Cruise here? I could not be more excited to see him fill Stacee Jaxx's shoes.
