It was a star-studded night in LA at the BAFTA Brits to Watch event! Prince William and Kate Middleton, in Alexander McQueen, arrived at the BAFTA dinner looking gorgeous as they made their entrance alongside CEO Amanda Berry. The red carpet was full of other famous faces though with Hollywood's finest coming out for the reception. Jennifer Garner got glamorous in a navy one-shoulder gown while Jennifer Lopez wowed in a cutout green number. Blake Lively was radiant in bright, sheer look and Nicole Kidman dazzled in sequined blue. The BAFTA event's host, Cat Deely, wore Dior and expressed her excitement about meeting Kate for the first time since she's already been introduced to Prince William. Also on hand for the evening were Tom Hanks, who celebrated his 55th birthday today, his wife Rita Wilson, Elizabeth Banks, Jason Bateman, Mary-Lousie Parker, Mad Men's Elisabeth Moss, and Ed Westwick.

how fitting that J-Low looks like a chorizo b/c she IS one (google it)..even with 16 sets of spanx, she's all lumpy and gross - ship her back to da hood, she can literally bring an event down with her mere presence....Blake is too fug to even acknowledge

Jennifer Lopez is stunning as always. She can get away with wearing that dress but I have to agree, a more conservative dress would have been better. This isn't the MTV Awards. BTW, Marc Anthony is hot! Jennifer Garner in make up? Wow! She's a pretty woman but cannot seem to dress for these events or to run errands. Blake? I don't get the hype at all! That dress is awful on her and period. I think she's really into designer names as opposed to how it looks on her. Nicole Kidman looks beautiful. Only certain colors works on her and she found one for this event. Way to come back after that green disaster she wore at her hubby's award show.

Very random selection of people...I think Jennnifer Garner looks good, but very skinny...J-Lo looks more suited to the MTV Music Awards...Nicole Kidman looks nice (but botoxed to the max)...Blake Lively - that dress is just wrong.

Stephley, there were a lot of young British film makers there. They actually met the Duke and Duchess, unlike most of the people photographed here. They only mingled with a select few and sat with Nicole Kidman and Barbra Streisand.

I wonder if Will and Kate got to hand a list of people they would like to meet. I know Viggo Mortensen would be on the top of my list... *drool* Most of the people at that party seem to be worth knowing. Except of course Blake... and JLo looks a bit tacky.

@jabell. Only two actually. And why shouldn't JLo and JGarner be friendly? JLo Married skelator June 1994 and JGarner married Ben June 1995. There was no overlapping there, its not a situation like Darran Aronofsky and Daniel Craig who will haVe to avoid eachother forever.

Jennifer Garner needs a better stylist. I really hope Rachel Zoe didn't pick out that mess. The colour looks beautiful on her though. I wish I was there to see Blake piss herself at the sight of Jen Garner. The tension in that room....gosh I wish I was there to witness it. On another note, what a random group of people.
