Happy Book Lovers Day! If any book could be called the biggest hit of the year, it has to be Fifty Shades of Grey. Many of our best-known celebrities love the series, including Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed, too. As we debate who should star as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in a Fifty Shades of Grey movie , we've rounded up which stars are obsessed with their romantic tale.

Ryan Seacrest is learning  from the book. He said, "I'm obsessed. I'm past the bathtub scene, so I'm making progress. It's fascinating to see something like that capture the zeitgeist and also it's really interesting to read. . . And I'm using it as a manual. I think it can be a study book for a lot of people."
Whitney Port loves 50 Shades of Grey , and shared a picture of herself reading. She wrote, "Entranced in 50 Shades of Grey. Geez!"
Ellen DeGeneres  did a tongue-in-cheek reading of E.L. James's text. She was a tad embarrassed by the words, and said, "Is it okay as a paraphrase, so I don't say the exact words? I'm going to put it in my own words."
Ian Somerhalder  was open about wanting to play Christian Grey. He told Ryan Seacrest , "I absolutely would be up  for that. I have the book and I just started reading it. That would be a pretty incredible thing, and hopefully that could pan out. Yes, beyond the shadow of a doubt I think that would be a phenomenal opportunity!”
Audrina Patridge  hopped on the bandwagon in late April. She tweeted, "Who's read 50 Shades of Grey? I'm going to start reading the first book tomorrow, pretty excited."
Chris Pine also entertained the idea of playing Christian Grey. He said during a CinemaCon press conference, "It’d be a hell of a choice for me, I think. It sounds like an interesting film."
Alexander Skarsgard  threw his hat in the ring to play Christian Grey. He joked with Access Hollywood, "I was born to play that part."
Barbara Walters brought up the topic on The View, and she even grilled costar Elisabeth Hasselbeck about any connections between her and husband Tim Hasselbeck's personal life and the book.

The Conversation host Amanda de Cadenet told TrèsSugar, "Whatever it is that gets women to talk openly about what's going on for them is a good thing. So whatever that catalyst is, I'm for it. . . But I also know in real life being blinded by desire to such a degree can only get you into trouble. It's a fantasy, and fantasies are awesome as long as you don't start living them in real life."
Dr. Oz dedicated an entire show to the sexuality explored in the book.
Nina Dobrev  spoke about the potential casting of boyfriend Ian Somerhalder as Christian Grey . She said, "I know that apparently he's really great for the role, so I hope that he gets it."
John Mayer  recounted a tale in which he tried to use Fifty Shades to woo a lady, who promptly fell over laughing.
Charlize Theron  gamely read the book aloud during an interview with MTV.
Ashley Benson would love a role  in the movie, and said, "I’ve read every book. I want to play Anastasia."
Selena Gomez  parodied the series in a Funny of Die video called "Fifty Shades of Blue" .
Kristen Stewart  also gave Fifty Shades of Grey a try when she read it aloud during an MTV interview.
Elizabeth Olsen denied casting rumors  but noted that the book has "had a huge impact on society."
Bar Refaeli  was so into the series that she tweeted, "on my last 100 pages of Fifty Shades Freed — a sad day. Avery sad day. I do not want it to finish."
Lucy Hale said she wants to play Anastasia Steele .

Emily Van Camp read Fifty Shades of Grey  while on vacation with boyfriend and Revenge costar Josh Bowman.
Victoria Beckham loves Fifty Shades  and even told Glamour magazine that she gave her mother a copy.
Kim Kardashian  was interested in the series, tweeting a picture of the first book and asking her followers, "Should I or shouldn’t I?"
Eva Longoria  met the woman behind the phenomenon, E.L. James, during a May 2012 visit to The View.
