Charlize, Claire, Elizabeth, and Diane Honor Emperor Valentino

Even without Brad and George, the Venice Film Festival kept up the glitz, and last night the glamour got a little more gorgeous. It was a screening of Valentino: The Last Emperor that brought out all these gowns on the likes of Claire Danes on the arm of Hugh Dancy, Charlize Theron fresh from the DNC, stunning Elizabeth Hurley posing with Valentino, and Diane Kruger sadly without Josh Jackson. It's only right that a movie honoring the designer has such a marquee red carpet heating up the late Summer night in beautiful Italy.

Elizabeth is with her naturally-tanned Indian husband.Diane is amazingly beautiful and so is her dress I love the cut and the color. Claire? Well, I would have loved thiss dress for my Barbie doll 20 years ago. Thank god my taste evolved. There's a Valentino exhibition in Paris at the moment at Les arts décoratifs Museum.

Elizabeth Hurleys husband is Indian, that's why he loks so tan to you. He is naturally a darker colour.

Diane so often looks like she was made to wear these dresses. She looks gorgeous. I've copied styles I've seen her wear on the street more often than I care to admit! And I still like Claire Danes a lot. I have a few tops I got at cute boutique shops with hand painted designs that I love. I wasn't sure how I felt about that dress but it kind of reminds me of some of my favorite tops, so I guess in a weird way I like it.
