Chris Brown's full Larry King interview aired last night, giving the singer a chance to talk about his thoughts and reflections on the past seven months since he assaulted Rihanna. He managed to compare his relationship with her to Romeo and Juliet as well as talk about how he thinks they may still end up together someday. When King implied that this is what he will be remembered for, Chris said brought up Michael Jackson. Check out some of what he had to say — watch the PopSugar Rush update now!
I've read Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet but I don't recall the scene where Romeo beats the sh*t out of Juliet!
1LOL right snpierson, I don't recall that either! He needs to just shut his mouth and stop playing the sympathy card and dissing Oprah for saying what she said about him. Just shut up Chris, you're not worthy of forgiveness for beating up Rihanna
2I hate this doosh (sp?)
He has been partying it up all over and being an arrogant bastard and we are supposed to feel bad for him?
3Kids: Don't be fool; stay in skool.
4WHY is he wearing MY favorite color? ... I'm offended.
5There is nothing romantic about domestic violence. sniperson I was going to say the same thing... must have missed that part of the play.
6stfu gremlin...ugh, I can't stand him or his face, or his lack of neck...this m-f is the original "head n shoulders"
7Romeo and Juliet both ended up dead. Interesting comparison?
8He is no MJ either. Ugh...throw him in jail and let him become someone else's b*tch for a little.
9I think that they were both wrong. Neither one of them should have laid a hand on the other one. So don't just condemn him but her too. Besides he is still young enough to learn from his mistakes. Don't condemn the young for their mistakes teach them the correct ways.
10Anon, way to blame the victim. When someone hits back in SELF DEFENSE they are NOT WRONG. they are PROTECTING THEMSELVES FROM FURTHER harm.
People like you make me so angry.
Come watch one of my domestic violence dockets. watch the victims blame themselves. see their bruised bodies and broken spirits.
11Nice work anonymous, you gutless freak. If Rihanna touched him first, he should have stopped the car and asked her to leave. He is a MAN, who is FAR stronger than she is, there is NO EXCUSE for violence. We all know that, you don't LEARN how to not abuse women and this was not a one off incident. You should be thinking about the VICTIM here, not the perpetrator. You also should be absolutely ashamed of yourself, you're as sick as he is.
12I know that I'm not going to be at all popular with saying this, but I agree with Anon. I'm not saying that people should start gushing all over him and buy his music, but I do think that there is more to the story. It's not all black and white, he's good or he's evil. From watching Larry King, it was clear that this kid has issues. TONS. Same with Rihanna, too. I think they both are pretty young with the world in their hands and things got waay out of control. And, in no way do I condone domestic abuse, especially since one of my best friends was murdered at the hands of her father. However, I do think that it is not beneficial to the situation for everyone to label this 20yr old kid, who still has a lot of growing up to do, as a monster. I just wish that people spent less time throwing stones and more time caring about counseling and rehabilitation...not just for Chris, but for Rihanna too. It's just a sad situation over all.
13Can he just go away?, there ought to be hundreds or thousands better singer/dancers without a record of domestic violence (and overall hate towards women) that can take whatever his place in the music business...
14He's such a piece of sh*t, this guy. I can't with him anymore. He makes me sick.
15Don't even try to give me that "two sides to every story" bullsh*t. He beat the hell out of her. Anyone who touches a woman should burn in hell.
16there. is. no. excuse.
17He's trying so hard.
18This is in response to EMMA G. you say "If Rihanna touched him first, he should have stopped the car and asked her to leave" HE DID you idiot! But she stayed to ummm argue, fight? Like I'm pretty sure all of us have in our own lives when we catch our man in the wrong. But did she get out of the car? NO! Instead she takes the keys and sits on them! Just because I see another side and not yours and the majority of people on this board, doesn't mean I'm a (a quote from EMMA G): gutless freak. He admitted guilt, he was sentenced, and he will serve his time. END OF STORY! He apolgized to her and she ACCEPTED IT AND WENT BACK TO HIM A WEEK AFTER IT HAPPENED! 1. there was no prior history of violence with him personally 2. they had an arguement that went to another level. If he was an an abuser (one who repeats his actions) then there would have been talk a long time ago about these two. So EMMA G get off your high horse! We all can't be perfect like you
19mar, i believe it is spelled d-o-u-c-h-e, which is a rather appropriate description of mr. brown.
20He is such a douche who is refusing to take responsibility! Die slow, Chris Brown.
21According to the police report that was published last week, she did not hit him this night in question, so there was no "hitting back." (There were a couple of occasions months earlier where she reportedly hit back.)
He tried to push her out of the car, but she couldn't get out because she was still belted into the seat. Then he beat her head some, and beat her head into the side of the car. Later when she tried to get out of the car, he sped up, so she couldn't.
She also didn't sit on the keys, she threw them out of the window. That's why he left on foot. He could not locate the keys. He also punched her repeatedly in the head and eyes, until blood was spurting, and put her in a headlock, trying to strangle her while threatening to kill her.
So why is anyone defending him? He should shut up and be grateful for the huge gift he got of probation, which I will not be the least surprised to see him violate. And I sure won't be upset to see him get locked up for awhile.
22WOW there are actually people out there defending a convicted abuser. Would you people want this criminal dating anyone you cared about?
23Lisa A. he should just beat the sh*t out of you, but will you still see his side of the story? you freaking idiot
This woman beater is a joke.
24I don't remember Romeo beating the crap out of Juliet.
And that bow tie looks ridiculous.
25yea u dont remember hitting her but i think u remember living.
