Amanda Seyfried and Blake Lively Get New Movies, Plus More of the Week's Biggest Casting News

There are some interesting onscreen pairings we'll get to see pretty soon — Amanda Seyfried [1] will reunite with a Les Misérables costar, and Blake Lively [2] is joining a veteran actress in a romantic drama. This is just some of the latest casting news going down this week, which also includes new roles for Chris Pine, The Rock, and Kate Beckinsale [3]. Get more details on these inside!

Kings of Summer star Nick Robinson is in talks to join Jurassic World [4] as the older brother of Ty Simpkins's character. Bryce Dallas Howard has already been cast.

Chris O'Dowd joined the untitled Lance Armstrong biopic [5] starring Ben Foster as Armstrong. O'Dowd will play a journalist pursuing a story on the cyclist.

Russell Crowe will star in Father and Daughters [6], a story about a man and his daughter who each live in New York City, 25 years apart.

Speaking of Fathers and Daughters, Amanda Seyfried has been cast as Russell Crowe's daughter [7] in the drama.

Kate Beckinsale joined The Face of an Angel [8], costarring Rush's Daniel Brühl. Beckinsale will play a journalist investigating a murder suspect played by model Cara Delevingne.

Bill Murray may join Cameron Crowe's latest movie [9], which is starring Emma Stone [10], Bradley Cooper [11], and Rachel McAdams [12]. No word yet on who he will play.

Chris Pine is set for Horrible Bosses 2 [13] as part of a father-son duo who steal one of the main characters' ideas for a new invention.

Taryn Manning joined A Light Beneath Their Feet [14], an indie drama in which she'll play a bipolar mother to a high school senior.

Dwayne Johnson will star in San Andreas [15], an earthquake disaster movie. He'll play a "rugged rescue pilot" attempting to save his daughter after a devastating quake hits California.

Kate Mara and David Oyelowo joined Captive [16], a thriller based on true events. Oyelowo will play a man who breaks out of jail and shoots the judge assigned to his case, as well as a court reporter and two officers. Mara will play a single mother who he takes hostage.

Blake Lively will star in The Age of Adaline [17], in which she'll play a woman who mysteriously stops aging after she's in a near-fatal accident. Ellen Burstyn has also joined the cast.

Laura Dern joined Wild [18] as Reese Witherspoon [19]'s mother. The movie, adapted from Cheryl Strayed’s best-selling memoir, is being written by Nick Hornby.

Haley Joel Osment joined two indies [20], Kevin Smith's Tusk and Max Landis' Me and Her, costarring Geena Davis, Alia Shawkat, and Scott Bakula. In Tusk, he'll play Teddy, whose best friend (Justin Long [21]) goes missing in the woods of Canada.

Brie Larson is in talks to join The Gambler [22], the remake of the 1974 James Caan film. Larson would play the female lead opposite Mark Wahlberg [23].

Ben McKenzie joined How to Make Love Like an Englishman [24], the indie comedy starring Pierce Brosnan [25] and Salma Hayek [26].

Olga Kurylenko joined The Water Diviner [27], Russell Crowe [28]'s directorial debut. She'll star opposite Crowe in the WWI-set film.
