Claire Danes debuted new, reddish locks after an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman in NYC on Thursday. The Homeland star showed off the darker 'do while heading out of the studio and back to her waiting SUV. Claire's hair was also a bit darker than usual on her recent Interview magazine cover, though it's still not quite as red as her '90s alter ego Angela Chase from My So-Called Life. In the magazine, Claire talked to fellow actor Dustin Hoffman about the differences between portraying angst-ridden teenager Angela and her current character, bi-polar CIA agent Carrie Mathison, saying, "[Homeland] has really been my first time aging with a character and experiencing her develop and change."
The last time we saw Claire out and about was last month, when she was spotted taking a stroll in Manhattan with her husband, Hugh Dancy, and their baby son, Cyrus. Claire has likely been keeping busy with her hit Showtime series, which is currently in its third season and premiered to record numbers in September.
