Claire Danes Late Show Pictures in NYC

Claire Danes got dressed up to visit the Late Show in NYC yesterday. She chatted with host David Letterman about the second season of Homeland and her first pregnancy. Claire wants to keep the sex of her firstborn a secret between herself and her husband, Hugh Dancy, but she did joke about potential baby names. David tossed out, "How about Jane Danes?" Claire corrected him by saying, "It would be Jane Dancy!" The interview was the end of a busy promotional day for Claire, who started the morning at Live! With Kelly and Michael, where she discussed her baby bump. Claire's pregnancy will not be written into her hit show's story line, she told Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan. Homeland returns for its second season on Sept. 30, but that's not the only TV excitement Claire's looking forward to. She scored an Emmy nomination for best actress in a drama series, and we'll see if she wins her second in a row on Sept. 23.
