Condensed Sugar: Kristen Shows Off Her Long Locks on the Set of Eclipse

Some of the Eclipse cast members have been out and about making the rounds in Vancouver, but Kristen Stewart has been laying low and even skipped a dinner with her costars last weekend. She was spotted on the set this week, showing off her new long Bella hair as silly rumors swirled about her possible engagement to Robert Pattinson. Everything can be fixed in post...even bad wigs and lipstick. Lets just hope they have the budget this time around as it was obvious that Twilight was made on a shoestring.

Her character in New Moon is down depressed and so her hair isn't meant to be stunning! Wig or no wig!

Actually yes the wig is relevant to the plot. Let me explain why.... Meyers wrote the characters of Edward and Bella.... she created them. She painstakingly made sure we got the point of Bella looking and acting a certain way. (i.e. Bella being clumsy, shy, awkward,aloof long plain sort of flat brown hair that only showed red highlights in the sun etc.) She made sure we got the point of what Bella looked like and they type of person she was. I never visualized an old 70's cheap wig on her or Edward in clown make up. If Makeup and Ward Robe were not part of a movie then Hollywood would not be spending big bucks to employee specialists that can achieve the right results and look. Like the person said Movies are mostly visual. You have to have people appealing to the eye and not look like complete crackheads. Without proper make up, ward robe and plot then you get what? Rob and Kirsten standing around looking drugged up and grinning for 2 hours? There are people who are actual fans of these books and movies who actually want to see them made into a decent production. I couldn't care less if they picked Kristen Stewart or who ever to do the part as long as they act well and the script compliments the look and actions of the characters of the books. It is bad enough that the director messed up the scene of Edward and Bellas Meadow which plays an important part in New Moon. Her wanting that connection is what brings her back there to nearly be attacked by Laurent. Small things like that can completely compromise future scenes. But then again most girls just want to see Rob and don't really care about the series. He could be playing a rabid clown on a unicycle and they would enjoy it.

she really does annoy me. She cannot act at all. This wig does look so bad- remind me of old men that spray on that stuff to make it look like they don't have a bald patch!

Of course the wig is no relevant to the plot! that question is absurb. But they're making THE MOVIE of the plot ( if you want to put that way). And everything is relevant in a movie!!!! hair make up looks acting, etc etc Movies are something VISUAL mostly, just in case you don't notice it

I agree, the wig is def different from her hairstyle in the 1st movie-and def obvious its a wig. But..is this relevant to the plot? No.

Kristen not only has a screwed up wig but she constantly makes the facial expressions of a constipated monkey. Also one person says she looks strung out and all that because of the Joan Jett movie but she has appeared that way before she even started filming Twilight. Take a look at her past appearances on talk shows and recent movies. She constantly does these weird facial ticks and expressions that take away from the performances in the movies she is in especially this one. Add on an ugly wig to that combination and it makes the movie less of what it should be. I suppose no one noticed that Edwards Lips looked like he was wearing the color Dollar Store Red in Twilight either. Don't get me wrong I love the books and the first movie was ok but was really missing something. It was almost B movie worthy though with the hair and makeup. I have high hopes for this one but if they cant get hair and makeup fixed this time around I am afraid they are going to lose some fans. Movie making is about the total package... the sets have to fit, the lighting has to be right and the hair, make up and ward robe has to compliment the characters while they act out the scripts. If you miss one then it screws up the others. These stories are awesome and deserve to be brought to the big screen in a big way not just thrown together.

All you Twilight fans make me LOL. You don't have to defend her hideous wig or swear that it won't affect the movie. Really, you don't!Her hair looks like crap. And it will look like crap ALL through the movie, undoubtedly. Probably to the point of being distracting to anyone who isn't swooning over the screen. No need to go on the defensive.

Ok…the name of her character is Bella (beautiful) I think that is for any reason, right? And apparently it's all about haircuts and looks because she had to cut her hair to look like Joan Jett and dress like her, even before she started shooting the movie. and Charlize Theron as Aileen had to LOOKS LIKE her for Monster, regardless of her performance. Maybe Kristen did a great job as Joan Jett, she showed commitment and dedication trying to look like. I Don’t think that this happening now. Sorry!

What you're really saying is that someone whom you obviously care and respect a lot (Kristen) makes very bed decisions regarding her determination and focus to really nail down a part in a film. You're telling her that she doesn't fit into your beauty box. If you had read the script, the hair may have made a lot more sense to you. Joan Jett's character was hungover a lot and going through a lot of hard times. Those times Kristen looked "hungover" and "like a boy" and "strung out" was because that's what Joan was going through. I guess she did a pretty good job then, huh? It's not all about haircuts and looks, is it? It SHOULD be about acting and craft and talent to care enough about a character to do what it takes.... even the ridicule of monsters that wouldn't know what style and substance was even if it came in the form of Kristen Stewart playing the toughest, most head strong and deep role of her career. I bet Charlize Theron got a LOT of flack for her makeUNDER as Aileen Wournos in the movie, Monster. She gained 50 pounds and had crooked teeth fitted around her beautiful ones to capture the part of a prostitute serial killer. In case you forgot, she won Best Actress that year for her role in Monster. I'm saying think about your words and what they mean and who they effect. Is it really about the hair? Why not focus on the positive aspect? Kristen's dedication to her acting and getting that part absolutely spot on.Mikey

Haha, when I first was about to click on the link to this album, I thought it was Taylor Lautner's terrible wig. Should have read further... but shows how bad the wig is. If half their cast wear wigs, you'd think they'd spend some money to get it right...

Kristen looks like a very plain girl if you saw her in the street you'd keep walking. The wig is unbecoming to her entire appearance. I hope she looks better than this in the movie otherwise she will suck and we won't have to waste our money going to see it. All you fans make it possible for Kristen and Rob to be stars and to make the salaries they make. If you don't go see the movie the star fades. It's called CONSUMER POWER. Summit give us what we want!!!

It's only a WIG.. this movie (&& story) is NOT about a WIG, nor should it BE about a WIG.. c'mon people, It's just hair!! (or lack thereof).. I'm sure when the movie comes out people wont say anything about the characters' hair!!! JEEESHH!!! Ok, I'm done ranting.. TEAM EDWARD!!
